Привіт! НАН України заснована у 1918 році й така подія не могла пройти мимо фінансового регулятора України. Національний банк випустив пам'ятну монету присвячену декільком поколінням вчених в категорії “Інші монети”. На жаль, в моїй колекції срібний виріб відсутній. Дві світлини для опису монети зі срібла номіналом 20 гривень використані з офіційного сайту Національного банку України.
Загальний тираж склав 2500 монет. Вага срібла 62.2 г, а розмір — 50 мм. В жовтні 2018 регулятор реалізував виріб за ціною 1839 гривень (близько 50 доларів США). Але придбати її в той час можна було за реальною ціною 2250 (61 долар). За даними Вікіпедії у 2023 срібна монета номіналом 20 гривень коштує 4300 гривень (117 доларів). Та продавці встановлюють свої ціни. Так, в Харкові дійсно зустрічав вартість близько 4300, але в Києві та інших регіонах України монету продають за ціною від 4600 до 5000 (136 доларів) та навіть більше.
Наукова організація України на момент заснування вже складалася з десятків наукових закладів, музеїв, дослідницьких центрів, архівних центрів, обсерваторій, бібліотек тощо. Нині це державна з досить складною структурою секцій, які займаються суспільними, біологічними, хіміко-технологічними та іншими дослідженнями.
Реверс срібної монети. В центральній частині виробу методом локальної позолоти нанесено головну будівлю академії наук. Вище споруди художники нанесли напис “100 років”. У нижній частині — назва наукової організації. Щоб нагадати наступним поколінням про величезний вклад наукової організації в дослідження, навколо споруди, зображено 8 портретів президентів академії. Біля кожного портрету викарбувано прізвище та ім'я, наприклад, Володимир Вернадський, Борис Патон. Кожен з президентів відомий не тільки своєю посадою, а й численними науковими роботами.
З іншої (лицьової) сторони викарбувано традиційні для українських монет національні елементи, рік введення в обіг, номінал. В нижній частині виробу методом локальної позолоти нанесено зображення печатки української держави, вище — написи щодо заснування академії наук. Монета має гладкий гурт.

Hello! The National Academy of Sciences of Ukraine was founded in 1918, and such an event could not pass by the financial regulator of Ukraine. The National Bank issued a commemorative coin dedicated to several generations of scientists in the "Other coins" category. Unfortunately, there is no silver product in my collection. Two photos to describe the silver coin of 20 hryvnias used from the official website of the National Bank of Ukraine.

At the time of its foundation, the scientific organization of Ukraine already consisted of dozens of scientific institutions, museums, research centers, archive centers, observatories, libraries, etc. Currently, it is a state institution with a rather complex structure of sections engaged in social, biological, chemical-technological and other research.
Reverse of a silver coin. In the central part of the product, the main building of the Academy of Sciences is applied by the method of local gilding. Artists painted the inscription "100 years" above the building. At the bottom is the name of the scientific organization. To remind future generations of the huge contribution of the scientific organization to research, 8 portraits of the presidents of the academy are depicted around the building. Next to each portrait is engraved a surname and a name, for example, Volodymyr Vernadskyi, Boris Paton. Each of the presidents is known not only for their position, but also for numerous scientific works.
On the other (obverse) side, the national elements traditional for Ukrainian coins, the year of introduction into circulation, and the denomination are engraved. In the lower part of the product, using local gilding, an image of the seal of the Ukrainian state is applied, above - inscriptions about the foundation of the Academy of Sciences. The coin has a smooth band.
