Мадейра - рай для трекінгу. Маршрути тут не тільки мальовничі, але й досить цікаві з точки зору фізичних навантажень: доріжки хвилясті, йдуть то вгору, то вниз, при цьому картинка постійно змінюється.
Madeira is a paradise for trekking. The routes here are not only picturesque, but also quite interesting in terms of physical activity: the paths are wavy, go up and down, and the picture is constantly changing.
Острів багатий на левади - так називають струмочки в каналах, що течуть з вершин острова до платнацій для їхнього орошення. Уздовж левад майже усюди є доріжки, які й самі тепер називають левадами. Гулять такими доріжками одне задоволення: повітря чисте, прохолодне, вологе, усюди багато зелені та струмочків, та навіть екзотичних рослин. Вже не кажу про дикі гортензії, які тут усюди.
The island is rich in levadas, that is streams in the canals that flow from the tops of the island to the plantations for their irrigation. There are paths along the levadas almost everywhere, which are now called levadas, too. It is a pleasure to walk on such paths: the air is clean, cool, humid, there is a lot of greenery and streams everywhere, and even exotic plants. Not mentioning wild hydrangeas, which are everywhere.
Наш вибір був зроблений на користь маршруту 25 Фонтанів. Думаю, назва промовиста та її походження пояснювати не потрібно. Справді, долаючи цей маршрут, ви зустрінете неймовірну кільксть водоспадів - більших та менших. Можливо, не всі 25, але точно більше 10 😁
Our choice was made in favor of the 25 Fountains route. I don't think the name explains itself. In fact, while following this route, you will meet an incredible number of waterfalls, larger and smaller. Maybe not all 25, but definitely more than 10 😁
Доріжки місцями досить вузькі, тож 2 людини, що йдуть назустріч одне одному, не розминуться. Все вирішується шляхом перемовин 😄
The paths are quite narrow sometimes, so 2 people walking towards each other will block each other. Everything is resolved through negotiations 😄
Наприкінці маршруту на нас очікувал найбільший водоспад, де збираються, фотографуються та навіть купаються усі туристи. Ми купатися не наважилися - вода була близько 17 градусів, що для мене запрохолодно.
At the end of the route, the largest waterfall awaited us, where all tourists gather, take photos and even swim. I did not dare to swim as the water was about 17 degrees, which is cool for me.
На шляху є кафе, де можна перекусити з неймовірним видом. Неприємно те, що усюди платні туалети (1 євро), навіть якщо ти щось купуєш у закладі. Від кафе до парковки можна дістатися невеличким автобусом, що коштує 16 євро з людини. Як на мене, дорогувато. Це варіант для нещасних стомлених батьків з не менш стомленими дітьми. Ми ж вирішили дійти на своїх двох.
On the way there is a café where you can have a snack with an incredible view. The unpleasant thing is that there are paid toilets everywhere (1 euro), even if you buy something in the café. You can get from café to the car park by a small bus, which costs 16 euros per person. In my opinion, it is expensive. This is an option for tired parents with no less tired children. We decided to go on foot.
Загалом, враження дуже позитивні незважаючи на те, що дорогою назад накрапав невеликий дощик. Якщо маєте зручне трекінгове взуття, теплий одяг та дощовик, отримаєте неабияке задоволення та насолоду від повітря, води та краєвидів.
In general, the impressions are very positive, despite the fact that on the way back it rained a little. If you have comfortable trekking shoes, warm clothes and a raincoat, you will get a lot of pleasure and enjoyment from the air, water and landscapes.
