Ми встигли зазирнути на Поділ, щоб погуляти з глінтвейном на найбльш атмосферній ярмарці країни, незважаючи на мінливу погоду, мінусову температуру на шквали вітру.
We managed to drop by Podil to take a walk with mulled wine at the country's best Christmas fair, despite the changeable weather, sub-zero temperatures and gusts of wind.
Зимові свята закінчуються, настають морози - як завжди в середині січня. В середині цього тижня погода здивувала. Я працювала вдома і побачила за вікном, що дерево дуже хитається від вітру. Потім придивилася і побачила: вітер настільки сильний, що сніг йде горизонтально 😄 Та це не стримало нас від поїздки на Поділ, що нам дуже рекомендували всі наші знайомі.
Winter holidays are coming to an end, frosts are coming - as always in mid-January. In the middle of this week, the weather was surprising. I worked at home and saw outside the window that the tree was bending under the wind. Then I looked closely and saw: the wind was so strong that it was snowing horizontally 😄 But this did not stop us from going to Podil, which was highly recommended to us by all our acquaintances.
На Софіївській площі дуже гарна ялинка, але гуляти дійсно краще їхати на Поділ. Там більше місця, менше людей, більший асортимент їжі та напоїв, затишніше, оригінальніше. Є окремі столики, є різноманітні локації брендів, розваги для діточок без нав'язливих кольорових кульок та дешевих іграшок. Шкода, що ми дісталися туди лише за декілька днів до закриття (сьогодні останній день ярмарку), але на майбутнє знатиму, що одразу треба їхати туду :)
There is a very beautiful Christmas tree on Sofiivska Square, but it is really better to go for a walk to Podil. There is more space, less people, a larger range of food and drinks, it's more comfortable, more original. There are separate tables, there are various locations of brands, entertainment for children without obsessive colored balloons and cheap toys drawing kids' attention. It is a pity that we got there only a few days before the closing (today is the last day of the fair), but in the future I will know that we need to go there immediately :)
