Last night was very unquiet in Kyiv, a lot of bombing and artillery sounds were heard.
The day started with disturbing news: Kyiv had been shelled again after the long break.
This time, the Northern district of Obolon suffered. At the beginning of the war, tanks drove through the area, bringing panic and destruction in their wake. People were very scared, many left, abandoning their apartments. A shell flew into a nine-story residential building, one person died, 10 were injured, 70 residents of the house were evacuated. The shell hit the common hall and many residents were not at home. Otherwise, there could have been many more victims.

Shortly thereafter, fragments of the rocket fell on the road in Kurenivka, Podil district. One person died, six were injured, two of them were hospitalized. A trolleybus passed by (thank God, without passengers), which was completely destroyed. Neighboring houses were damaged by the blast wave and other debris.

These areas are native for me, because I rented my first apartments there when I moved to Kyiv many years ago. I spent many moments of happiness there, I know every street. It is very bitter to see how my beautiful, great, peaceful Kyiv is gradually turning into ruins. But it didn't end there. Later it became known that the Antonov plant, the largest aviation concern in Ukraine, was shelled with three rockets. According to the emergency services, there were no casualties.

I closely follow the news, take information only from official and trusted sources. I have relatives in different parts of the country (parents, grandparents, aunts, uncles and cousins). Unfortunately, none of them is completely safe. Their cities also have air sirens, they are also amenable to bombardment and their cities are also of strategic interest to the enemy. Every day I watch the movement of enemy forces and pray that their plans do not work, that the invaders stop killing people and leave for their country of slavery and disgrace with nothing.
Found wonderful tangerines in a nearby supermarket - trying to take proper care of the bodies, too. Even though it may be hard.
Today my friend gave birth to her son in Ivano-Frankivsk to the howling of air raid sirens. This experience was incredibly difficult for her, but all this suggests that life goes on. No matter how difficult it is. The truth is on our side, we are on our own land. We are a peaceful people who have never wished harm on anyone. We are a wise people who have dignity. But we are also brave people, proud people, and we'll never give up a single meter of our country and will never surrender to the enemy. I believe in our victory!
