81st day of the war.
Yesterday was very emotional. My husband and I went on a date for the first time during the war. We walked around the city, drinking coffee. An incredible spring aroma of lilac and cherry blossoms was in the air.
Вчорашній день був дуже емоційним. Ми з чоловіком уперше за час війни вибралися на побачення. Гуляли містом, пили каву. У повітрі висів неймовірний весняний аромат бузку та квітучої вишні.
In the evening, like many Ukrainians, we watched the Eurovision final. This year's competition will certainly go down in history. At least in the history of Ukraine. This victory is so important to us for many reasons. This brought us together even more. It showed the whole world that we are fighting for our culture and identity even (or rather, especially) in times of war. And, most importantly, the whole world heard the cherished words, after which the heart of every Ukrainian sank.
Увечері, як і багато українців, ми дивилися фінал Євробачення. Цьогорічний конкурс, звичайно, увійде в історію. Як мінімум, в історію України. Ця перемога така важлива для нас з багатьох причин. Це ще більше нас поєднало. Це показало усьому світу те, що ми боремося за свою культуру та ідентичність навіть (або, швидше, особливо) під час війни. І, головне, весь світ почув заповітні слова, після яких стислося серце у кожного українця.

Oleh Psiuk from the stage of Eurovision, to 200 million people in the audience, called on the whole world to save Azovstal. I cried so much that the next few songs went by in a blur. Whether we win or not, whether we are disqualified or not (political appeals from the Eurovision stage are strictly prohibited), nobody cared any more. The main words had been said. The pain of the entire Ukrainian people had been expressed. Informationally and humanly, we won already at that moment. Nevertheless, it was incredibly nice to receive such a colossal, record-breaking support from the European people. The whole civilized world is with us, hears our song, listens to our voice, feels our pain. Our incredibly talented and courageous guys won 100% at their front. By the way, I recommend watching the video for the song "Stefania", with which the guys won, if you haven't already.
Олег Псюк зі сцени Євробачення, на 200 мільйонів людей аудиторії, закликав увесь світ урятувати Азовсталь. Я плакала так сильно, що наступні кілька виступів пройшли, як у тумані. Переможемо ми чи ні, дискваліфікують нас чи ні (політичні заклики зі сцени Євробачення суворо заборонені) – вже було абсолютно байдуже. Головні слова були сказані. Біль всього українського народу був виражений. Інформаційно та по-людськи ми перемогли вже у той момент. Проте було неймовірно приємно отримати таку колосальну, рекордну підтримку від європейського народу. Весь цивілізований світ із нами, чує нашу пісню, слухає нас голос, відчуває наш біль. Наші неймовірно талановиті та сміливі хлопці відвоювали на своєму фронті на всі 100%. До речі, рекомендую подивитися кліп на пісню "Стефанія", з якої хлопці перемогли, якщо ви ще цього не зробили.
Meanwhile, in Mariupol itself, the situation is getting more and more complicated every day. The wives of the fighters gave a press conference in which they shared that the mood of the defenders is pessimistic. They go out only to find water, the medicines are over, the wounded soldiers are amputated without anesthesia. They are preparing for the last fight, while all of Ukraine is praying for a way to get them out of there through the extraction procedure. That is why it is so important to talk about the catastrophic situation at Azovstal from everywhere, through all channels, wherever possible.
Тим часом у самому Маріуполі ситуація з кожним днем все складніша і складніша. Дружини бійців дали прес-конференцію, де поділилися, що настрої у захисників песимістичні. Вони виходять лише для того, щоб знайти воду, медикаменти закінчилися, пораненим бійцям ампутують кінцівки без наркозу. Вони готуються до останнього бою, коли вся Україна молиться за те, щоб знайти спосіб витягнути їх звідти через процедуру екстракції. Саме тому так важливо говорити про катастрофічну ситуацію на Азовсталі звідусіль, усіма каналами, де тільки можна.
In the meantime, the entire democratic world is trying to resolve the issue of rescuing the defenders of Azovstal, russian scums continue to shell the plant, including with phosphorus bombs prohibited by the Geneva Convention. Especially cynical are their inscriptions made on shells launched at the plant: "Eurovision 2022 - help to Azovstal, as you asked."
А поки що весь демократичний світ намагається вирішити питання із порятунком захисників Азовсталі, російські тварюки продовжують обстрілювати завод, у тому числі забороненими Женевською конвенцією фосфорними бомбами. Особливо цинічні їхні підписи, які вони залишають на снарядах, що запускаються у бік заводу: "Євробачення 2022 - допомога Азовсталю, як ви і просили".
And despite all the meanness of the russians, I know that they do it out of impotence. Because all they can do is destroy, kill and commit crimes. To show intelligence, humanity or create something beautiful is absolutely beyond their capacity. While we will hold Eurovision in the peaceful, blooming, Ukrainian Mariupol!
І незважаючи на всі підлості русні, я знаю, що вони роблять це від безсилля. Тому що все, що вони вміють – це руйнувати, вбивати та вчиняти злочини. Проявити розум, людяність чи створити щось прекасне їм абсолютно не по зубах. А ми ще проведемо Євробачення у мирному, квітучому, українському Маріуполі!
