Одразу попереджаю, якщо хочете зробити фотографії без зайвих людей, то варто їхати сюди з самого ранку, а не як ми. Прибули десь о третій і проштовхнутись між такими ж туристами було практично неможливо.

Блакитне Око, або ж «Syri i Kalter» якщо албанською розташоване за 22км від популярного курорту Албанії - Саранда. Унікальне та феноменальне родовище, глибина якого сягає понад 50 м, по сьогоднішній день точну цифру ніхто не знає, адже дайверам заважає сильна течія, щоб просунутись далі.
Blue Eye, or "Syri i Kalter" if in Albanian is located 22 km from the popular resort of Albania - Saranda. Unique and phenomenal field, the depth of which reaches more than 50 m, to this day no one knows the exact figure, because divers are hindered by strong currents to move forward.
Джерело живить річку Бистриця і забезпечує роботу місцевої гідроелектростанції. При цьому довжина річки складає практично 25 кілометрів та впадає в Іонічне море. До того ж безодня за секунду видає на поверхню 6-7 кубічних метрів води.
The spring feeds the river Bystritsa and provides operation of the local hydroelectric power station. The length of the river is almost 25 kilometres and flows into the Ionian Sea. In addition, the abyss in a second gives the surface 6-7 cubic meters of water.
Всього відомо вісімнадцять виходів води. Водойма має незвичайне забарвлення — у центрі джерела вода насиченого темно-синього кольору, а по краях яскраво-блакитного. Саме через колір води та форму це місце отримало свою назву, адже дійсно схоже на око :)
A total of eighteen water outlets are known. The reservoir has an unusual colour - in the centre of the source of water is a deep dark blue colour, and the edges are bright blue. It is because of the colour of the water and the shape that this place got its name because it really looks like an eye :)
Незвично і те, що температура води в джерелі цілий рік залишається незмінною — близько + 13 °С. Купатися у водоймі туристам не заборонено, проте зануритися наважуються лише найсміливіші — ноги досить швидко судомить від холоду.
It is also unusual that the water temperature in the spring remains unchanged throughout the year - about + 13 ° C. Tourists are not forbidden to swim in the pond, but only the bravest dare to dive - their feet convulse quite quickly from the cold.
Для тих, хто не купається є інший атракціон - кидати камінці в воду та рахувати за який період часу він випливе на поверхню.
For those who do not swim, there is another attraction - throwing pebbles into the water and counting the period of time it will float to the surface.
В часи диктаторського комунізму до Блакитного Ока могла приїздити лише комуністична еліта! Зараз це джерело знаходиться в Національному парку та відкрите для усіх бажаючих. Проте, влітку вхід на територію все таки платний. Але вартість більше чисто символічна, за 4 людей ми віддали близько 100 гривень (менше 4 долларів).
In the days of dictatorial communism, only the communist elite could come to the Blue Eye! Now, this spring is located in the National Park and is open to everyone. However, in summer the entrance to the territory is still paid. But the cost is more purely symbolic, for 4 people we paid about 100 hryvnias (less than 4 dollars).
До речі! Тут діє лагінда українізація. Дядько, котрий збирав гроші за вхід, коли почув з якої ми країни радісно прокричав нам "Слава Україні! Гарної дороги!" ❤️ А вже після споглядання на Блакитне око ми відправились до себе в місто, проте не забули ще трішки зупинитись на скелястій місцевості, щоб вкотре побачити безкрайне море.

Good road!" ❤️ And after contemplating the Blue Eye, we went to our city but did not forget to stop for a while on the rocky terrain to see the endless sea again.
