Oak of Maksym Zalizniak is one of the oldest trees of Ukraine, the natural monument of local importance. This oak is in top ten largest and the oldest trees in Europe and is the winner of the All-Ukrainian competition National Tree of Ukraine" in the nomination Memorial Tree of Ukraine). The height of the oak is 30 metres, the girth of the tree stem is 9 metres, its age is more than 1100 years Oak of Maksym Zalizniak is considered the patriarch" of Ukrainian forests.
