Ось як буває: майже рік, поки триває війна проти російської агресії, ніякі події не могли викликати хвилю позитиву і заряду енергії. Аж ось сьогодні, в День Героїв Небесної Сотні, абсолютною несподіванкою стала новина про візит до Києва Президента США Джо Байдена.

Спочатку я не могла повірити, що це правда.
Потім, коли оголосили повітряну тривогу, мені стало страшно за наших Лідерів. Росії вірити не можна, хтозна як ці навіжені відреагують на історичну подію.
Але, коли побачила відео і переконалась, що ці двоє мужчин сміливо і спокійно під звуки сирен прямують вулицею, - заспокоїлась.😎

Я не великий політик, і навіть не диванний експерт. Але візит Байдена до столиці країни, що воює із російським агресором, це однозначно історична подія. І вона може повернути хід нашої визвольної війни кардинально, адже така колосальна підтримка України в досягненні перемоги над російським загарбником є зразком для розвинутих країн світу. Разом з тим, це черговий сильний сигнал путіну забиратися геть із нашої землі. Бо , як сказав Джо Байден: "Коли путін розпочав вторгнення майже рік тому, він вважав, що Україна слабка, а Захід розділений. Він думав, що зможе пересилити нас. Але він глибоко помилявся". цитата

And it can radically reverse the course of our liberation war, because such colossal support of Ukraine in achieving victory over the russian invader is a model for the developed countries of the world. At the same time, this is another strong signal for putin to get out of our land. Because, as Joe Biden said: "When putin launched the invasion almost a year ago, he believed that Ukraine was weak and the West was divided. He thought he could overpower us. But he was deeply mistaken." quote
Абсолютно справедливо, що на Алеї сміливості у Києві тепер встановлено дошку на честь Джо Байдена. Закарбовано навіки, для наших нащадків.

Про значення зустрічі двох Президентів у плані політичних та матеріальних результатів говорити не буду, нехай ці новини кожен пізнає із офіційних джерел. Особисто мене надихнула сама атмосфера візиту і програма, до якої увійшли і вшанування пам'яті Героїв, що загинули у війні з росією. І зустріч із митрополитом ПЦУ Епіфанієм у Михайлівському соборі. І те, як незаангажовано, без особливої помпезності, спілкувалися лідери держав один з одним і з журналістами. Переконана: що б підлого не робила ще росія проти України, ми все одно переможемо.

Personally, I was inspired by the very atmosphere of the visit and the program, which included commemoration of the Heroes who died in the war with russia. And a meeting with Metropolitan Epiphanius of the OCU in St. Michael's Cathedral. And the way in which the leaders of the states communicated with each other and with journalists in an uncommitted manner, without much pomp. I am convinced: no matter what else russia does against Ukraine, we will still win.
