Святий Миколай приніс нам трішки морозу. В минулі часи ми вже шукали б інформацію, на якій водоймі став міцний лід, щоб поїхати порибалити. Але на сьогодні з багатьох причин риболовля відкладена в довгу шухляду, залишається тільки надіятись, що наші славні ЗСУ цю шухляду значно скоротять.✌️
Але сьогодні випала нагода пригадати навички зимової риболовлі, а саме - вміння бурити лунки. Про допомогу попросила наша сусідка. В неї є маленька водойма, в якій живуть красиві рибки. Влітку ми мали змогу помилуватися їх незвичним виглядом. А от тепер рибки потрапили в льодяний полон. Як багато хто знає, під льодом швидко вичерпується кисень, потрібний рибі для життя. І якщо товстий лід стоїть дуже довго, то риба може задихнутися. Саме тому на озерах часто можна побачити вставлені пучки очерету в пробурені на льоду лунки. Таким чином кисень має можливість потрапляти у воду, і рибкам стає комфортніше пережити зиму.
Saint Nicholas brought us a bit of frost. In the past, we would have already looked for information on which reservoir had solid ice in order to go fishing. But today, for many reasons, fishing is put in a long drawer, we can only hope that our glorious Armed Forces will significantly shorten this drawer.✌️
But today was an opportunity to recall the skills of winter fishing, namely, the ability to drill holes. Our neighbor asked for help. She has a small pond in which beautiful fish live. In the summer, we had the opportunity to admire their unusual appearance. But now the fish are trapped in the ice. As many know, under the ice, the oxygen necessary for fish to live is quickly depleted. And if the thick ice stands for a very long time, the fish can suffocate. That is why on lakes you can often see bundles of reeds inserted into holes drilled in the ice. In this way, oxygen has the opportunity to enter the water, and it becomes more comfortable for the fish to survive the winter.
От ми і пробурили Галіним рибкам кілька лунок. Для того, щоб вони не замерзали повністю і щоб був постійний доступ кисню до води, поставили в ополонки сухі стебла соняшника і квітів. Лід дійсно дуже товстий, тому без цієї процедури могла статися задуха. Але тепер, я надіюся, весною ми знову зможемо спостерігати за красивими рибками в Галіному саду.

In order for them not to freeze completely and for there to be constant access of oxygen to the water, dry stems of sunflowers and flowers were placed in the pits. The ice is really very thick, so suffocation could happen without this procedure. But now, I hope, in the spring we will again be able to watch the beautiful fish in Galina Garden.
