Kyiv is surrounded with forest fire. The most critical situation is in Chernobyl
exclusion zone. The cause of the fire is arson. Yesterday the fire was stopped in 2 km from the 4th block of Nuclear Reactor. Stopped, but didn't eliminated.
Today we have a wind and dust storm, and another arson from the south. And Kyiv turns out to be in a trap of fumes.
Golosiyvsky forest is in fire, animals are dieying, and firemen still fight the fire. I can't imagine the person who is able to do that.
To give you an insight of the emergency situation. Yesterday AQ index (quality of the air) in my district was 38, good. 2 hours ago it was 72 (the higher is the worse). Just now it is 182! And there are districts where AQ is almost 300! The people who come in from outside say it is like standing by a campfire.
The residents of the capital are strongly recommended to close windows, venting and stay at home.
