Today I want to share with you part of my personal life related to mom's medicine expenses. I hope you can read my publication and above all that you will take advantage of it.

Hoy quiero compartir con ustedes parte de mi vida personal relacionado con los gastos de las medicinas de mamá. Espero que puedan leer mi publicación y sobre todo que le saquen provecho.
It is no secret that we are living in difficult times due to inflation. Things are getting more expensive with each passing day, especially when it comes to medicines. My mother is hypertensive and also has a small cardiac arrhythmia, which is why she has to take her medications to the letter. My siblings and I have come to a good agreement. We take turns to buy her medications, each one has his or her assigned month and I got this month.
I have time to get the money together to meet my corresponding months, however, sometimes it is hard for me because this is not the only expense I have. Every household has a monthly budget and sometimes it is difficult for me to save to buy medicines. So every time I fulfill this duty I feel an enormous satisfaction. It is such a relief to be able to contribute to the well being of one of the people who loves me the most in this world, the other person is my dad.
It is incredible the great love that these two people have shown me throughout my life, I would love not only to be able to buy his medicines but also to give him much more. Although I am convinced that nothing I can give them will make up for everything they have done for me.
Para nadie es un secreto que vivimos en tiempos difíciles debido a la inflación. Realmente cada día que pasa las cosas son más costosas, sobre todo lo que tiene que ver con las medicinas. Mi mamá es hipertensa y también tiene una pequeña arritmia cardíaca, razón por la cual debe tomarse sus medicamentos al pie de la letra. Mis hermanos y yo hemos llegado a un buen acuerdo. Nos turnamos para comprarle sus medicamentos, cada uno tiene su mes asignado y a mi me tocó este mes.
Tengo tiempo para reunir el dinero para cumplir con mis meses correspondientes, sin embargo, a veces se me hace cuesta arriba porque este no es el único gasto que tengo. Toda casa tiene un presupuesto mensual y en ocasiones se me hace difícil ahorrar para comprar las medicinas. Así que cada vez que cumplo con este deber siento una enorme satisfacción. Es un alivio tan grande poder contribuir para el bienestar de una de las personas que más me quiere en este mundo, la otras persona es mi papá.
Es increíble el amor tan grande que estas dos personas me han demostrado a lo largo de mi vida, me encantaría no solo poder comprarle sus medicamentos sino también darle mucho más. Aunque estoy convencida que nada de lo que les pueda dar compensará todo lo que han hecho por mi.
My mom takes candesartan 16mg, this medicine is for arterial hypertension and has a cost of fifteen dollars, although walking and asking in several pharmacies I got it for almost eleven dollars. There were cheaper ones but they are not from recognized laboratories and the cardiologist does not suggest them either because they do not protect in the correct way. We have known cases in which some people have relapsed because they have taken medicines from non-Venezuelan laboratories and believe me, that terrifies me. Not only me, but also my siblings are very afraid of this matter, that is why we always make an effort to buy the one that is good for them.
In these cases we are not looking for economy but for quality because it is nothing more and nothing less than my mother's health and for her I am determined to work hard to fulfill what she needs. She must take this medication for life together with atenolol, which is for arrhythmia. The latter is cheaper, its price is five dollars and it lasts for a full month just like the candesartan. So that's at least twenty dollars a month for my mom's meds.
However, as I mentioned earlier we take turns and it makes it easier for us. Although sometimes we resort to borrowing money among ourselves to help those who can't afford it at the moment. I have had to ask one of my brothers to buy the medicines when it is my turn because I don't have the money and I buy them when it is his turn and we have solved the problem. But it is not always, only when an unforeseen event occurs.
Mi mamá toma candesartan de 16mg, esta medicina es para la hipertensión arterial y tiene un costo de quince dólares, aunque caminando y preguntando en varias farmacias la conseguí en casi once dólares. Habían unas más económicas pero no son de laboratorios reconocidos y el cardiólogo tampoco las sugiere porque no protegen de la forma correcta. Hemos conocido casos en los que algunas personas han recaído por tomar medicamentos de laboratorios que no son venezolanos y créanme eso me aterra. No solo a mi, también mis hermanos les da mucho temor este asunto, es por eso que nos esforzamos siempre por comprar la que le hace bien.
En estos casos no buscamos economía sino la calidad porque se trata nada más y nada menos que de la salud de mi mamá y por ella estoy decidida a trabajar duro para cumplir con lo que necesita. Este medicamento lo debe tomar de por vida junto al atenolol que es para la arritmia. Es más económico este último, su precio es de cinco dólares y le dura el mes completo igual que el candesartan. Así que son al menos veinte dólares mensuales para las medicinas de mi mamá.
Sin embargo, como mencioné anteriormente nos turnamos y se nos hace más fácil. Aunque a veces recurrimos a un préstamo entre nosotros mismos para socorrer al que le toca y no puede en ese momento. A mi me ha tocado pedirle a uno de mis hermanos que compre las medicinas cuando me toca porque no tengo el dinero y yo las compro cuando a él le toque y hemos solventado. Pero no es siempre, solo cuando ocurre un imprevisto.
In this opportunity I also bought an anti-allergic because my mom and dad live with a perennial allergy, plus my dad, so it is very appropriate to have these at home. Health is extremely valuable and everything we can do to take care of it is a good investment to be made without sparing any effort, even more so if it is our beloved parents. From the bottom of my heart I tell you that I feel happy and very satisfied to be able to collaborate with my parents or rather to fulfill my duty because they deserve it much more.
En esta oportunidad también compré un antialérgico porque mi mamá y mi papá viven con una alergia perenne, más mi papá, por eso es muy apropiado tener estos en casa. La salud es sumamente valiosa y todo lo que podamos hacer para cuidarla es un buena inversión que hay que realizar sin escatimar esfuerzos, más aún si se trata de nuestros amados padres. De corazón les digo que me siento contenta y muy satisfecha de poder colaborar con mis padres o mejor dicho de cumplir con mi deber porque ellos se merecen eso mucho más.
