Aquí quiero compartir mí experiencia, y aunque no soy madre primeriza el temor que sentí cuando me dijeron que efectivamente había entrado en trabajo de parto, fue algo que no puedo explicar!

Here I want to share my experience, and although I am not a new mother, the fear I felt when they told me that I had indeed gone into labor, was something that I cannot explain!

Todo comenzó el sábado 19 de febrero, en casa de mis padres, estaba sentada a la mesa terminando mi desayuno para comenzar a lavar algo de ropa, pues estaba preparandome para el parto (el cual no esperaba para ese día, jajaja)

It all started on Saturday, February 19, at my parents' house, I was sitting at the table finishing my breakfast to start doing some laundry, because I was preparing for the delivery (which I did not expect for that day, hahaha)

Pude sentir como corria entre mis piernas un montón de agua, y solo pude poner mis manos en mi cabeza y pensar, "no puede ser, aún falta 1 mes".

Acto seguido, mi cuñado me llevo a la emergencia, ya que la doctora que controló mi embarazo no atendía las llamadas.

Estando allí, tras el exámen físico decidieron referirme a otro hospital, el hospital central de Maracay ya que en este centro de salud si cuentan con incubadoras, y personal especialista para neonatos prematuros, y mi hija sería una de ellos 🥺 ya que mi embarazo estaba en la semana 35.

I could feel a lot of water running between my legs, and I could only put my hands on my head and think, "it can't be, there's still 1 month to go". Immediately afterwards, my brother-in-law took me to the emergency room, since the doctor who controlled my pregnancy did not answer the calls. While there, after the physical examination they decided to refer me to another hospital, the central hospital of Maracay since in this health center they do have incubators and specialist personnel for premature infants, and my daughter would be one of them. since my pregnancy was in week 35.

Ocurrió muy rápido el traslado en ambulancia y el ingreso al hospital, dónde después de obtener todo el material para una "cesárea" me admiten y asignan una cama.

Desde la cual pude ver cómo varias mujeres dieron luz a sus bebés 😍 todo mientras yo "esperaba mi turno para quirófano" (el cual nunca llegó)

Luego de varias horas de espera, y tras conversar con varios médicos, una doctora decidió revisarme para darse cuenta que la labor estaba muy avanzada, ya había llegado a 6 de dilatación 😵 y fue en ese momento que decidió "ayudarme" y reventó la membrana acelerando los dolores y por supuesto el proceso.

Siendo ya las 12:08 AM del domingo 20 de febrero, pude sobre mi pecho a mi pequeña hija, quien respiro y lloro al nacer, peso 2.900 gr y midió 50cm. 😍

The transfer by ambulance and admission to the hospital happened very quickly, where after obtaining all the material for a "cesarean" they admit me and assign me a bed. From which I could see how several women gave birth to their babies 😍 all while I was "waiting my turn for the operating room" (which never came) After several hours of waiting, and after talking with several doctors, a doctor decided to check me to realize that the work was very advanced, I had already reached 6 dilation 😵 and it was at that moment that she decided to "help me" and burst the membrane accelerating the pain and of course the process. Being already 12:08 AM on Sunday, February 20, I was able to hold my little daughter on my chest, who breathed and cried at birth, weighing 2,900 grams and measuring 50cm. 😍

La más hermosa experiencia que una mujer puede experimentar, hoy cuando se suponía debía nacer, mi pequeña celebra 1 mes de vida 🥳
