When my kids do their chores or get a good grade at school, or show any good results in their activities, I praise them with point system. When they get 10 points, they can get an actual prize. It can be a treat at the cafe or a little toy, or a book.
My daughter was doing good job getting ready for school on time, and at her activities she was trying her best. So I got her this little art set. She loves art, so for her it was something she liked and enjoyed doing.
What I liked about this set is that it’s very easy and at the same time it feels like she was doing a little project. The paint sticks are very soft and creamy. I wonder if they would look brighter on a black background. I’m going to get a small canvas for another painting and try with a black background next time with her.
As for my oldest kid, he prefers to save his points to get a lego set. Lego sets are usually pricey so it takes longer time to get it. Although some characters can be purchased separately.
