Hello friends,
Today my daughter brought a paper maple leaf from her school. That gave us an idea to use it at home for our own little artwork.
Materials used.
Black scratch off paper
Regular pencil
Pink Eraser
Oil pastel
Here is the cardboard maple leaf. We traced it on our scratch off paper, and started to work.
We scratched off the outline of our leaf and now it’s time to do inside the leaf.
I thought we were done but my little artist had another idea. She wanted to draw on the black part of paper. First she tried using crayon but it was too dull. So I offered her oil pastel. She was so happy with the result. It looks like stained glass now.
Now here I thought we were really done with our artwork but wait. My daughter wanted to make grass around the leaf:-)
Finally, my princess was happy with her work. I should say I was amazed with the amount of time she was able to concentrate and had more and more ideas how to make her project look better, after she spent 6 hours at school.
