Greetings everyone! Today marks the conclusion of May. Despite the ongoing heat, we eagerly anticipate the arrival of June, which we hope will usher in the rainy season.
By the way, I'd like to share how my son's handwriting has improved. Following the example I provided on April 17, 2024, I printed out alphabetical tracing exercises for him.
Approximately one week after practicing letter tracing, he independently began writing his name.
As he was still having difficulty forming the letters of his name, I decided to print out letter tracing worksheets to provide him an opportunity for additional practice.
Additionally, he asked me to print out number tracing sheets so that he could practice writing numbers as well.
His initial struggles with writing his name amazed me. However, with consistent daily practice, I've observed a remarkable improvement in his penmanship.
Initially, there were some letters of his name that he struggled to write. However, through consistent daily practice, he gradually mastered writing them correctly.
At one point, he also desired to write the alphabet, including both lowercase and uppercase letters.
In the past, he would eagerly practice writing his name because he would receive a reward like a Yakult or a chocolate afterward. However, he has now become accustomed to practicing writing without any tangible rewards. Instead, he is given a star for his efforts, which allows him to watch his favorite show, Paw Patrol.
As a working mom, I strive to balance my time between my job and taking care of my son. It has been challenging to find extra time for his education, especially teaching him how to write. However, I am delighted to see a significant improvement in his penmanship, which makes all the hard work worthwhile.
His table is clean now. I removed all the papers that he already used. I guess I had to buy other papers for him as he already consumed the papers that I bought for him.
I guess my son is now ready for the upcoming school year.
I am excited for him to be in school this school year.
With that, I conclude my motherhood blog for today. I hope you enjoyed reading my article.
Thank you for reading, and may divine blessings be upon us all.
