Nowadays we must keep in mind that both mom and dad should have the same responsibility towards the child. For months I have been observing the role that my niece's father plays, even though he works and my sister stays at home with the child he spoils his daughter, when he comes home from work he takes care of her, he takes her for a walk with him so that my sister can relax a little and do her own things.
There are very few men I know who do it, sometimes I see him changing her diaper (he does it very well), he gives her food, her water and when she gets sick he stays at night with my sister in candles even though he has to work the next day nothing prevents him from doing it, it is not an excuse that he is born to take care of his children, he does it.
However, I have a nephew who still hasn't come to his senses, he has a son, he only goes out to hang out and leaves his wife with his daughter at home, he doesn't help her with anything, he doesn't even know how to change a diaper, besides that they are always alone because he is on the street and his excuse is that he has to rest to be able to work.
We must understand that the responsibility of a baby is not only the mother's, since the father must fulfill the role of fatherhood and be in every moment of the child's growth, besides everything happens so fast that in the blink of an eye they are already big. You have to take advantage of each stage of their development, which is very nice for both him and for you; Do not waste it, take advantage of it.
