Finally, the most anticipated week for my son and me arrives on vacation, the moment to return to that land that we always miss, El Hato, that's what this small community located in the south of the state of Merida is called. I love spending time in this place, especially because it is where my parents live.
Hola queridos amigos de motherhood, como siempre es un gusto saludarlos, espero estén disfrutando de las bondades de la vida, rodeados de bendiciones, hoy estoy feliz de retomar mi blog, después de unos días de descanso, compartiendo con mi familia y creando nuevos recuerdos en mi historia como madre.
Al fin llego la semana más esperada por mi hijo y por mí de las vacaciones, el momento de volver a ese terruño que siempre extrañamos, El Hato, así se llama esta pequeña comunidad ubicada al Sur del Estado Mérida. Me encanta pasar tiempo en este lugar, especialmente porque es donde residen mis padres.
Returning is a breath of fresh air that recharges me with energy and makes me happy, not only because of its temperate climate and its evenings of dense fog, but also because when I connect with nature, with the simple and the simple, we end up connecting with ourselves, feeding our minds with positive thoughts and taking a break from all those worries that we face as parents every day.
My little Angel, I enjoy this place like nobody else, from day one, his attitude changed radically, he was just happy, he just wanted to explore and learn everything, share with his grandparents and ask them everything, I loved seeing him, talking to them, we had 09 months without seeing them and the natural way in which he related to them immediately, demonstrate that the love of grandparents, overcomes any distance. Definitely, children need to enjoy them, live that love, so pure and full of wisdom that only they can give them.
Regresar es una bocanada de aire fresco, que me recarga de energía y me alegra la vida, no solo por su clima templado y sus tardes de neblina espesa, sino que al conectar con lo natural, con lo simple y lo sencillo, terminamos conectándonos con nosotros mismos, alimentando nuestra mente con pensamientos positivos y tomando un respiro de todas esas preocupaciones que como padres nos enfrentamos día a día.
Mi pequeño Angel, disfruto como nadie este lugar, desde el día uno, su actitud cambio radicalmente, simplemente estaba feliz, solo quería, explorar y conocer todo, compartir con sus abuelos y preguntarles de todo, ame mucho verlo, hablar con ellos, teníamos 09 meses sin verlos y la naturalidad con la que él se relacionó con ellos de inmediato, demuestran que el amor de abuelos, supera cualquier distancia. Definitivamente, los niños necesitan disfrutar de ellos, vivir ese amor, tan puro y lleno de sabiduría que solo ellos les pueden brindar.
The best part of these days was that feeling of freedom, having so much space to play and run around peacefully, it's fantastic. At home we don't have as much space as at our grandparents' house and I think this is one of the things that influence his behavior, there was no place for stress, to cry or get upset, because here he can drain all that energy accumulated during the day.
Lo mejor de estos días, fue esa sensación de libertad, tener tanto espacio para jugar y correr con tranquilidad, es algo fantástico. En casa no tenemos tanto espacio como en la casa de los abuelos y creo que esta es una de las cosas que influyen en su conducta, no había lugar para el estrés, para llorar o molestarse, porque aquí puede drenar toda esa energía acumulada durante todo el día.
He loved his grandmother's food, he left nothing on the plate and even repeated, he forgot about the empanadas and changed the sweets for fruits, which he had at his complete disposal all day. My mom spoiled us all with her stews and delicious food and of course the chicken sancocho could not be missed.
Le encanto la comida de su abuela, no dejaba nada en el plato e incluso repetía, se olvidó de las empanadas y cambio las golosinas por frutas, que tenía a su completa disposición todo el día. Mi mamá nos consintió a todos con sus guisos y comidas deliciosas y por supuesto que el sancocho de gallina no pudo faltar.
The activity we enjoyed the most these days was walking, we walked a lot, through different places, we climbed some hills and my son enjoyed these walks very much, thanks to the weather, the walks were very relaxing and although sometimes we ran out of air, the view made it all worth it.
La actividad que más disfrutamos estos días, fue caminar, caminamos mucho, por distintos lugares, subimos algunos cerros y mi hijo disfruto mucho de estos paseos, gracias al clima, las caminatas eran muy relajadas y aunque a veces el aire nos faltaba, la vista hacía que todo valiera la pena.
One of the other things we loved was coinciding with the visit of my brother and his wife, so my son shared with his uncle, with whom he played football until he was exhausted. My brother, in addition to his uncle, is his godfather and I consider it one of the best decisions I have made, because they have a special connection and, since he could not have children, he sees and takes care of my son as if he were his son.
Otra de las cosas, que nos encantó, fue coincidir con la visita de mi hermano y su esposa, así, mi hijo compartió con su tío, con quien jugo fútbol hasta quedar agotado. Mi hermano, además de su tío, es su padrino y considero que fue una de las mejores decisiones que he tomado, porque tienen una conexión especial y, ya que él no pudo tener hijos, ve y cuida de mi niño como si fuese su hijo.
We had a fantastic time between walks, games, delicious food and the best company, we rested and came home, full of love and with the great desire that Christmas will come soon and we can hug my parents again and enjoy this magical place for us.
Entre caminatas, juegos, comida sabrosa y la mejor compañía, pasamos unos días fantásticos, descansamos y volvimos a casa, llenos de amor y con el deseo enorme de que llegue navidad pronto y volver a abrazar a mis padres y disfrutar de este lugar mágico para nosotros.
