Estimulación Temprana | Avances de Joaquín [ESP-ENG]

Saludos queridos lectores, espero que se encuentren realmente bien en este día 🤗.

Como expliqué antes, mi hijo menor Joaquín ha estado recibiendo Terapias de Estimulación Temprana debido principalmente a que esto es bueno para su desarrollo social y psicomotriz, como también para que desarrolle otras áreas en las que había un poco de atrasos o justamente hace falta esa estimulación.

En sus evaluaciones dijeron cosas que él no hace o cosas que le faltan que yo como mamá sé que si las hacía o solo le faltaba un pequeño impulso. Como cuando me dijeron que el no mira mucho a los ojos y le falta prestar atención, sin embargo ahora que lo conocen más y han visto, se han dado cuenta que si lo hace, solo debes llamar su atención.

As I explained before, my youngest son Joaquín has been receiving Early Stimulation Therapy mainly because this is good for his social and psychomotor development, as well as for him to develop other areas in which he was a bit behind or just lacking that stimulation.

In his evaluations they said things that he doesn't do or things that he lacks that I, as a mother, know that he does do or that he just lacks a little push. Like when they told me that he doesn't look much in the eyes and lacks attention, but now that they know him better and have seen him, they have realised that he does, you just have to get his attention.

Ya no le teme para nada ensuciarse, creo que nunca le tuvo miedo o asco, es solo que yo nunca le daba cosas como para que lo hiciera o dejaba que lo hiciera, ¿Sobreprotectora tal vez? No lo sé. Así que ahora juega con agua, objetos dentro del agua, con arena, pinturas y otras texturas.

Incluso ahora cuando va al parque no le teme a la arena 😂, pues la arena con que juega en casa o terapia es una como de la misma marca de la plastilina. Otra cosa que ya hace y le encanta es lanzarse por el tobogán, realmente lo disfruta mucho y otra cosa que le gusta es jugar con el señor cara de papas.

He's not afraid of soiling himself at all, I don't think he was ever afraid or disgusted by it, it's just that I never gave him things to do or let him do it, overprotective maybe? I don't know. So now he plays with water, objects in the water, with sand, paints and other textures.

Even now when he goes to the park he is not afraid of sand 😂, as the sand he plays with at home or therapy is one of the same brand of play dough. Another thing he already does and loves is to go down the slide, he really enjoys it a lot and another thing he likes is to play with Mr. potato face.

Joaquín solo dice agua bien dicho, mamá y papá balbuceando, pero cuando quiere 😒 y ahora está aprendiendo o quiere decir las vocales, creo que mi miedo más grande es justo el habla, ya que Amelie no lo hace y eso nos frustra bastante y hace que quiera que Joaquín lo haga ya, pero debo esperar y respetar su tiempo.

Joaquin en casa aprendió a jugar "El pato patito" chocando las manitos, al igual que Amelie un juego que ella nunca ha olvidado. También él sabe chocar las cinco y chocarla de puñito. Algo gracioso, es que él juega conmigo y Ammy, "Piedra Papel o tijeras", no nos gana pero hace el intento jajaja.

Joaquin only says water well said, mummy and daddy babbling, but when he wants to 😒 and now he is learning or wants to say the vowels, I think my biggest fear is just speech, as Amelie doesn't do it and that frustrates us a lot and makes me want Joaquin to do it already, but I have to wait and respect his time.

At home Joaquin learned to play "Ducky Duck" by high-fiving, just like Amelie, a game she has never forgotten. He also knows how to high-five and high-five. A funny thing is that he plays with me and Ammy, "Rock Paper Scissors", he doesn't beat us but he tries hahaha.

Ahora en el Singulares él está aprendiendo a imitar, ya que hay cosas que hace por seguir órdenes, como cuando le digo que toque la puerta, pero ahora está aprendiendo a hacer cosas por imitación y lo ha ido logrando su terapeuta, la cual grabó videos para mostrarme.

Su terapeuta lo ama mucho y se ha ganado su confianza y cariño, lo cual no es fácil, porque él es un chico serio y no sonríe con todos. Lo que si ha estado costando es que trabajar con su conducta, pues creo que está en la rebeldía de los 2 años y la verdad es bastante enojón y porfiado si le quitan algo o no le dan algo que quiere.

Now at Singulares he is learning to imitate, as there are things he does by following orders, like when I tell him to knock on the door, but now he is learning to do things by imitation and his therapist, who recorded videos to show me, has been achieving this.

His therapist loves him very much and has gained his trust and affection, which is not easy, because he is a serious boy and does not smile with everyone. What has been difficult is to work with his behaviour, because I think he is in the rebelliousness of 2 years old and the truth is that he is quite angry and stubborn if something is taken away from him or if he doesn't get something he wants.

Igual no hay nada que una sutil chancla no pueda solucionar 😂🙊 y claro algunas terapias de conducta, como cuando le dicen que debe guardar al señor cara de papas o a su carro favorito y se altera todo, pero igual debe guardar todo y continuar con otra actividad.

Todo esto es un proceso que al final lo ayuda a él a ser y estar mejor, los avances muchas veces no son o se ven tan rápidamente, sin embargo Joaquín es un chico pilas, como le dice su terapeuta y por ende aprende muy rápido, además Amelie está feliz de que él asista con ella a terapias y se ríe muy alegre cada vez que lo ve trabajar en la zona de juegos.

There is nothing that a subtle flip flop can't solve 😂🙊 and of course some behavioural therapies, like when they tell him to put away Mr. potato face or his favourite car and he gets upset, but he still has to put everything away and continue with another activity.

All this is a process that in the end helps him to be and be better, the progress often is not or is not seen so quickly, however Joaquín is a battery boy, as his therapist tells him and therefore learns very quickly, also Amelie is happy that he attends therapy with her and laughs very happy every time she sees him working in the playground.
