Como les he contado hace algún tiempo atrás mi hijo menor, Joaquín está en terapias de estimulación temprana. Él asiste a la misma clínica donde Amelie recibe terapia ABA para niños con condición de Autismo.
Joaquín ha tenido grandes avances, pero aún tiene problemas conductuales, que le impiden ser social del todo. Por ejemplo: él habla y saluda cuando él quiere y a quién él desea, pero si sabe emparejar objetos, colores y reconoce las letras.

As I told you some time ago my youngest son, Joaquin is in early stimulation therapies. He attends the same clinic where Amelie receives ABA therapy for children with Autism.
Joaquin has made great progress, but he still has behavioural problems, which prevent him from being fully social. For example: he speaks and greets when he wants and to whom he wants, but he does know how to match objects, colours and recognises letters.

Joaquín también reconoce el sonido de los animales (no todos, pero sí los más comunes). En este mes le tocó presentar su primera exposición, debía llevar una cartilla con el dibujo del animal que le correspondía, en su caso fue "La cabra" y como no sabe hablar bien, solo debía hacer el sonido, señalar dónde vive y qué come.
Tuvimos pocos días para practicar en casa, él siempre hace el sonido de la cabra, pero cuando yo le preguntaba "Joaquín, ¿Cómo hace la cabra?", Él automáticamente no hacía ningún sonido 😐 solo porque yo era quien le preguntaba. En sus terapias la licenciada encargada de él, también lo enseñaba y con ella tampoco quería decirlo, pero solo si lo hacía.
Joaquín also recognises the sounds of animals (not all, but the most common ones). This month he had to present his first exhibition, he had to bring a card with a drawing of the animal that corresponded to him, in his case it was "The goat" and as he doesn't speak well, he only had to make the sound, point out where he lives and what he eats.
We had a few days to practice at home, he always makes the sound of the goat, but when I asked him "Joaquín, how does he make the goat", he automatically did not make any sound 😐 just because I was the one asking him. In his therapies, the graduate in charge of him, also taught him and with her he didn't want to say it either, but only if he did it.

Cuando llegó el día de su exposición, para sorpresa nuestra, si hizo el sonido de la Cabra y con la ayuda de su terapeuta señaló lo que comían y dónde vivían. Aplaudimos al pequeño con orgullo y sus demás compañeros estaban también listos para hacer sus presentaciones.
Joaquín es un niño muy inteligente, le gusta la música, bailar y es un imitador nato. También está en una etapa donde no le gusta oír a otros cantar 😂 y ama los teatros, tanto que al terminar el espectáculo que está viendo, quiere que todos los presentes aplaudan, si no lo hacen el grita hasta que lo hagan: "Bravo, bravo, bravo" jajaja.
Como padres y familia, estamos felices por sus avances y esperamos que siga mejorando y regalando a todos de su hermosa sonrisa.
When the day came for his presentation, to our surprise, he did make the Goat sound and with the help of his therapist pointed out what they ate and where they lived. We applauded the little boy with pride and his other classmates were also ready to make their presentations.
Joaquín is a very intelligent child, he likes music, dancing and is a natural imitator. He is also at a stage where he doesn't like to hear others sing 😂 and he loves theatres, so much that at the end of the show he is watching, he wants everyone present to applaud, if they don't he shouts until they do: "Bravo, bravo, bravo" hahaha.
As parents and family, we are happy for his progress and hope that he continues to improve and give everyone his beautiful smile.
