Como ya he dicho antes, a mi me encanta la Navidad, aunque no al punto del fanatismo, pero busco pasarla bien y que los niños disfruten de todas las actividades en sus colegios y en casa.
En mi casa, el más pequeño es Joaquin y él ama la Navidad, se la pasa cantando villancicos en esta fecha y aunque no se le entiende mucho o todo, se sabe cuales son por el ritmo y algunas palabras bien dichas. Incluso en casa colocamos las luces y el árbol de navidad más temprano en esta época por él, ya que vió que en su escuela estaban preparando todo para Navidad y nos pidió hacer lo mismo.

As I said before, I love Christmas, although not to the point of fanaticism, but I try to have a good time and make sure the children enjoy all the activities at school and at home.
At home, the youngest is Joaquin, and he loves Christmas. He spends his time singing Christmas carols at this time of year, and although you can't understand much or everything he sings, you can tell which songs they are from the rhythm and a few words that are clear. We even put up the lights and the Christmas tree earlier this year because of him, as he saw that his school was getting ready for Christmas and asked us to do the same.
Hablando de su escuela, el viernes hubo una actividad por la Navidad y los niños cantarían Villancicos para sus padres. A mi me pasó como los videos que el niño está triste porque no ve a sus padres y luego se alegra cuando los ve, es que llegué 5 minutos tarde y ya estaban cantando la primera canción, pero apenas Joaquin me vió sacó su gran sonrisa y me saludó. Entre las canciones que cantaron estaban las tradicionales: Campana sobre campana, Navidad y el burrito sabanero, también habían 2 en inglés, ya que la escuela es Bilingüe.

Speaking of his school, on Friday there was a Christmas activity and the children were going to sing Christmas carols for their parents. It was like those videos where the child is sad because he can't see his parents and then he's happy when he sees them. I arrived five minutes late and they were already singing the first song, but as soon as Joaquin saw me, he gave me a big smile and waved hello. Among the songs they sang were traditional ones: Campana sobre campana, Navidad, and El burrito sabanero. There were also two in English, since the school is bilingual.

Como dato curioso: En Ecuador hay clases hay, sobretodo en la costa porque el horario de clases es diferente a otros países o regiones. Mis hijos apenas este lunes 22 y martes 23 tendrán sus respectivas fiestas de Navidad y luego unas pequeñas vacaciones ya que el 07 de Enero regresan a clases y en el caso de mi hija mayor, ese día debe presentar 2 proyectos que le enviaron a casa 😒. Pero, los haremos antes para que ella pueda disfrutar sus cortas vacaciones de Navidad.
Espero que sus niños (para los que tienen), también estén disfrutando de esta navidad.

As a curious fact: In Ecuador, there are classes, especially on the coast, because the school schedule is different from other countries or regions. My children will have their Christmas parties on Monday, December 22, and Tuesday, December 23, followed by a short vacation, as they return to school on January 7. My eldest daughter has to submit two projects that were sent home that day 😒. But we will do them beforehand so that she can enjoy her short Christmas vacation.
