Here are some of the photoshoot pictures of him taken one week before his birthday. He's so cute, right? My baby is growing up too fast.
Hello everyone! As I mentioned with you on my previous blog about the preparation for my son's birthday, I also want to share how we celebrated it. So let's start. March 20, 2024, was my son's 3rd birthday. When he woke up in the morning, he saw the decoration I made for him, and his reactions were really surprised and happy at the same time. He said, "WOW, NICE!". So as a mom, I was also happy to see my kid's appreciation for what I did. All my efforts are worth it, even if it's so tiring.
His birthday celebration was simple yet memorable. I'm not a person or a mom who spends a lot of money on a birthday party just to please other people. Because as I grew up, my parents taught me that you should spend what you can afford. So that your other expenses or necessities will not be affected. Even though the celebration was so simple, I know he really enjoyed it, especially blowing out the cake candle. My two kids really enjoyed it because they blew out the candle almost 20 times. Haha. That's a lot, right? As a mom or a parent, that's what we want for our kids—to make them happy. We celebrated his birthday by singing him a happy birthday song and eating the food that we prepared for him. And taking some pictures of him for remembrance. But taking pictures of him was difficult. Struggle indeed. That's why I don't have a nice picture of him. Haha. But that's okay; what's important is that he enjoyed his birthday. We ended the day by playing with my kids before they went to sleep as part of our daily routine. So, that's how we celebrated it. Simple yet full of joy. I hope that my kids will remember this when they grow up.
Here are the foods that we prepared for his birthday:
Cake
Spaghetti
Pancit Sapporo
Mango Graham
Buko Pandan
Pork Lumpiang Shanghai
Royal Bibingka
Here are some photos of him with the decorations I made when he was 1 and 2 years old.
So that's it for today's blog. Until next time. Thank you, everyone! 🤞
