Hi people, I hope you are all very well today🥰🥰 I've been busy with work and I haven't had much time to stop by🥺, but today I came back for a little while.
I tell you this cute but not-so-cute experience with my not-so-baby baby anymore, Thiago.
One more Sherk and Donkey adventure👩👦🤣.
Hace un par de semanas Thiago me había comentado que quería ir a la pista de patinaje⛸️, esta se encuentra ubicada a casi 1h de nuestro hogar y se llama Margal, tu pista de hielo🧊.
A couple of weeks ago Thiago had told me that he wanted to go to the ice rink⛸️, this one is located almost 1h from our home and it's called Margal, your ice rink🧊.
El pase era de 1h en la pista por 4 mil pesos cada uno, aproximadamente unos 17$ por los dos patinando.
The pass was for 1 hour at the rink for 4 thousand pesos each, approximately $17 for the two of us skating.

Así que pasamos por la caja y pagamos las entradas y luego entramos a una salita con unos casilleros, ahí nos guardaron nuestros zapatos y nos pidieron nuestras tus tallas, ofreciéndonos unos patines una talla mas grande, para que no nos lastimaramos, luego nos pusieron una bolsita protectora y por último los patines, debo admitir que me sentí como una princesa porque ellos se encargan de ponerte los patines🤭💅🏼.
So we went through the cashier and paid for the tickets and then we went into a little room with some lockers, there they kept our shoes and asked us for our sizes, offering us skates one size bigger, so we wouldn't hurt ourselves, then they put a protective bag and finally the skates, I must admit I felt like a princess because they take care of putting the skates on you🤭💅🏼.

Como fuimos en día de semana, la pista no estaba tan llena, pero tengo entendido y he escuchado por ahí que los fines de semana se llena con un montón de gente😳.

Yo anteriormente de niña había patinado en Venezuela, así que podía dominar esto un poco más que mi hijo, pues él nunca lo había hecho y vaya que fue una aventura😭.
Él no podía mantener el equilibrio y se frustraba bastante, igual estuve intentando enseñarle y muy pendiente de que no se cayera, los primeros minutos fueron muy duros porque tuve que sostenerlo y también mantenerme de pie, cosa que es difícil, luego pudo dominarlo un poco, pero se le fue la emoción del inicio al ver lo difícil que es🥺.
I had previously skated in Venezuela as a kid, so I could master this a bit more than my son, as he had never done it and boy was it an adventure😭.
He could not keep his balance and got frustrated, I was still trying to teach him and was very aware that he did not fall, the first few minutes were very hard because I had to hold him and also stand up, which is difficult, then he could master it a little, but the excitement of the beginning was gone when he saw how difficult it is🥺.
También hacía mucho frío🥶🥶, porque estamos en invierno aún y al estar en la pista con el hielo, aunque teníamos nuestras medias y la bolsita protectora, igual se te enfriaban un montón los pies😭, debemos ir mejor preparados la próxima con medias más gruesas y más protegidos del frío.
Me sentí un poco mal por él porque sé que tenía mucha ilusión de venir, sin embargo la pasamos muy bien y nos divertimos, aunque nos salimos antes de que pasara la hora🤣.
It was also very cold🥶🥶 because we are still in winter and on the rink with the ice, even though we had our socks and the protective bag, our feet still got very cold😭, we should be better prepared next time with thicker socks and more protected from the cold.
I felt a little bad for him because I know he was really looking forward to coming, however, we had a great time and had fun, although we left before the hour was up🤣.
Debemos practicar mucho más, así que posiblemente volvamos en algún momento y les cuento si ya nos volvimos patinadores profesionales, ahre, se ilusionaba🤣.
