Hola a todos! ya casi es nochebuena y aunque aún Olivia está muy pequeña, yo no quiero esperar más para empezar a hacer las cosas tradicionales de la navidad, así que como saben, ya hicimos el arbolito y decoramos la casa juntas (cosa que disfrutamos bastante), pero aún faltaba algo más, y sí, era hacerle la carta a Santa, y fue justo eso lo que hicimos ayer para pedir algunos juguetes, además Olivia pidió mucha salud y le dijo a Santa que ella se portó muy bien este año.
Claro que mamá tuvo que ayudar un poco a Olivia con la carta, ya que ella aún no sabe escribir, pero como ven en las fotos, se dedicó a completarla con algunos dibujos a su estilo, hechos con marcador y témpera. También les cuento que fue muy emocionante escuchar a Olivia repetir lo que mamá escribía en la carta para Santa, y estoy segura que la palabra que más entendió ella de esta, además de Santa, fue juguetes jajaja.
Siento que es hermoso como padres crear esta ilusión y tradición que hace muy feliz a nuestros hijos y me trae lindos recuerdos de cuando yo estaba niña, pues hacer la carta a santa era algo que esperaba todo el año con mucha ilusión. Una vez la carta estaba seca, la metimos en un sobre (el cual pintamos con un corazón), y Olivia la puso con mucha emoción en nuestro árbol de navidad, esperamos que a Santa le guste mucho y cumpla todos los deseos de Olivia y de todos los niños del mundo. I must also tell you that it was very exciting to hear Olivia repeat what Mom was writing in the letter to Santa, and I'm sure that the word she understood most, besides Santa, was toys, ha ha ha.
I think it's beautiful how parents create this excitement and tradition that makes our children so happy and brings back fond memories of when I was a child, because writing the letter to Santa was something I looked forward to all year long. Once the letter was dry, we put it in an envelope (which we painted with a heart), and Olivia excitedly placed it on our Christmas tree.
