En esta oportunidad vengo a contarles cómo me fue en un paseo que realice junto a mis hijos y su hermano mayor el fin de semana específicamente el día Sábado. En estos últimos tiempos nos hemos dedicado a salir un poco más, sobre todo, mi intención es sacar a los niños del encierro que han vivido a raíz de la Pandemia de la Covid-19 y los fines de semana se han convertido en nuestros mejores aliados.
La invitación fue para dar un recorrido el cual nos pareció muy agradable, nos gustó mucho debido a que todo el lugar tiene un valor histórico para nuestro Estado. Se trata de la Ciudad de Pampatar, un sector del Municipio Maneiro, es una zona muy exclusiva de la Isla de Margarita, en el Estado Nueva Esparta. En ella podemos conseguir un sin fin de comercios, así como emprendedores que hacen vida para el disfrute de turistas y residentes.
La Ciudad de Pampatar esta ubicada en un Municipio Turístico por excelencia, donde existe una gran gama de restaurantes que ofrecen platos típicos de la región como pescados frito y moluscos, popularmente llamados mariscos, también es muy conocida por su principal actividad económica que es la pesca, la cual es el sustento diario de la mayoría de sus habitantes.

The invitation was to give a tour which seemed very nice, we liked it a lot because the whole place has a historical value for our State. It is the City of Pampatar, a sector of the Maneiro Municipality, it is a very exclusive area of the Isla de Margarita, in the Nueva Esparta State. In it we can find endless businesses, as well as entrepreneurs who make life for the enjoyment of tourists and residents.
The City of Pampatar is located in a Tourist Municipality par excellence, where there is a wide range of restaurants that offer typical dishes of the region such as fried fish and molluscs, popularly called shellfish, it is also well known for its main economic activity, which is fishing. , which is the daily sustenance of most of its inhabitants.
En esta oportunidad nuestra parada fue en el Castillo de San Carlos de Borromeo. Es una estructura colonial muy bonita y en la actualidad muy bien conservada. Es un Patrimonio Cultural y forma parte importante de la Historia de Venezuela. Fue construido para proteger al puerto y la aduana de Pampatar de los ataques de los piratas, los cuales acechaban a la Isla de Margarita.
This time our stop was at the Castle of San Carlos de Borromeo. It is a very nice colonial structure and currently very well preserved. It is a Cultural Heritage and is an important part of the History of Venezuela. It was built to protect the port and customs of Pampatar from pirate attacks, which stalked Margarita Island.
El Castillo San Carlos de Borromeo está situado en lo que hoy se considera el centro histórico de Pampatar justo en la Bahía de Pampatar, la zona es muy bonita, bien cuidada, segura y específicamente los fines de semana tiene un gran movimiento en comparación con los días de semana.

La estructura es muy bonita, está muy bien conservado a pesar de ser tan viejo. Ha sido restaurado y hoy en día sirve de museo, en el podemos conseguir pinturas de héroes de la Guerra de la Independencia y de acontecimientos de la guerra. También hay armas antiguas y una colección de recuerdos de Luisa Cáceres de Arismendi. Todas están bajo custodia de la Alcaldía del Municipio Maneiro.

Si algún día tienes la oportunidad no dudes en hacer este agradable recorrido junto a tu familia, te aseguro te gustara mucho.

Les puedo decir que este paseo lo disfrutamos muchos, en otras oportunidades hemos ido Castillo ya que es una de las rutas históricas que contempla el paseo en autobuses que hacemos todos los años en las vacaciones escolares, pero con el tema Pandemia no habíamos vuelto y siento que ahora que mis hijos están mas grandes lo disfrutan más, hacen preguntas y se interesan por conocer un poco más.
Me gusta que mis hijos conozcan, los acontecimientos y personajes importantes que marcaron la historia de nuestro país, enseñarles el respeto por sus tradiciones, que conozcan su cultura, sus costumbres, que conozcan y vean el cambio que se ha experimentado desde esos años hasta ahora y como cambiaron su historia actual.

I can tell you that many of us enjoyed this walk, on other occasions we have gone to Castillo since it is one of the historical routes that includes the bus ride that we do every year during school vacations, but with the Pandemic issue we had not returned and I feel that now that my children are older they enjoy it more, they ask questions and are interested in knowing a little more.
