Hoy les quiero compartir mi experiencia al llevar a mi hija a una cita médica con al Nefróloga, pero era una jornada de salud y obvio nos imaginábamos largas y tediosas colas. Gaby desde que cumplió su 1er año ha estado en control con el nefrólogo debido a que perdía varios minerales por la orina y eso le ha impedido agarrar peso.
La última vez que asistió a la consulta fue en el mes de diciembre de 2022, debí llevarla en diciembre de 2023, pero por no tener el dinero completo para hacerle examenes lo dejé correr. Hace 2 semanas estuvo enferma con una bronquitis y se descompenso tanto que comía menos, así que enseguida busqué para hacerle los exámenes y fue así como descubrí que en el mismo sitio donde generalmente hago todos mis exámenes de laboratorio que es una Fundación sin Fines de Lucro y está caracterizada por sus precios solidarios, bueno en ese lugar pasa consulta la Dra., quien atiende a Gaby, yo no lo sabía.
Anotaron a Gaby para la próxima jornada que era el sábado 25, lo que más me agrado es que el pago de la consulta incluía todos los exámenes de laboratorio y el costo de la consulta era de 40$, cosa que me pareció bien, ya que la ultima vez que fui al consultorio de la Dra. pagamos 35$ solo consulta.
Pero el proceso empezó con recolectar la orina desde el domingo a las 6:30am hasta el lunes 6:30am, luego ese lunes llevarla a que le sacaran la sangre para hacer todos los exámenes, además de exámenes de heces.

They signed Gaby up for the next day, which was Saturday the 25th. What I liked the most is that the payment for the consultation included all the laboratory tests. The cost of the consultation was $40, which seemed good to me, since The last time I went to the doctor's office we paid $35 for a consultation only.

Mientras Gabriela se alistaba ya que ella pasa como 1 hora para poder salir, yo por mi lado preparaba el desayuno para llevárnoslos, así como fruta picada, cava con hielo, agua, jugos y otras provisiones, pues no sabía que tanto tiempo nos íbamos a demorar allá.
Teniendo todo listo salimos de casa 7:30am ya era muy tarde porque mi idea era estar a las 7:00am en el lugar, pues me habían dicho que a pesar de no tener tantos pacientes anotados podía pasar que llegar muchos más de lo acordado.
El lugar donde es el consultorio médico es en la ciudad de Juan griego y nos queda a 35 minutos de casa y porque tenemos carro. Cuando llegué al lugar me quería morir pues aquello estaba super ful tanto de niños como de adultos, pero al entrar me enteré que era que iban atender otras especialidades como mastología entre otros.
Cuando fui anotar a Gabriela mi sorpresa es que ella era el N.º 11, la Dra. no había llegado y ya eran las 8:00am, entonces llegue al acuerdo con la secretaria que según la Dra. fuera atendiendo a los pacientes íbamos viendo, porque lo más probable era que nos tocara ir a la Asunción a sus clases de Lirico y volver, para que ella no perdiera su clases, todo es lejos, pero al menos teniendo carro todo se hace más fácil y mi esposo había puesto el tanque del carro ful de gasolina pensando en que eso ocurriera.
Así que bueno nos dispusimos a esperar. La Dra. llego a las 9:00am, con una sonrisa súper bella, cosa que a ella la caracteriza, jamás la he visto molesta y el trato con los niños es un amor. Enseguida se instaló y pidió pasar a 2 niños que eran hermanitos.
Por la hora le dije a la secretaria que mejor iba y venía y cualquier cosa ella me llamaba, si tenía que sacar a Gaby antes de tiempo de sus clases y que podía pasar a los otros pacientes que estaban después de Gabriela. Fuimos a sus clases de lirico y a las 11:30am nos devolvimos a Juangriego al consultorio, cuando llegamos estaba adentro la paciente Nª 9, así que bueno después de tanta corredera lo bueno es que solo pasaban a un paciente más y venia Gabriela.
Salimos de la consulta a la 1:00pm. Amigo es sumamente agotador sobretodo cuando tienes que sacrificarte no solo tú, sino que adicional también lo tienen que hacer tus hijos, siempre buscando lo más económico y ahorra hasta el último Bolívar.

El resultado es: Gabriela está botando Ácido Úrico y Potasio por la orina y eso hace que le dé poco apetito, tiene 3 kilos por debajo del peso, es decir debe subir al menos esos 3 kilos para estar en la raya y luego vemos. A los Reyes magos le pidió una lonchera de esa que tienen 4 compartimiento y ahí le meto desayuno y frutas, todo se lo pongo bonito para que le provoque comer y resulta que cuando llega a casa, trae la mitad del desayuno.
Bueno la Dra. estuvo conversando con ella, y ella le prometió comer un poquito más, no mucho jajaja, también a raíz de la placa de tórax que se le hizo hace pocos días cuando tenía bronquitis, le salió una desviación en la columna, por lo que la Dra. la remitió a un traumatólogo y adicional a eso a un cirujano porque tiene una hernia umbilical.
Y pues amigos a pesar de que todo es controlable con tratamiento y al hernia pues hay que hacerle una pequeña cirugía, todo eso no deja de preocuparme pues ya el solo hecho de pensar en todos los gastos que esto ocasiona, además de tener que pasar malos ratos atendiéndose en las medicaturas o ambulatorios públicos, eso me pone mal pues siempre lo he dicho nada que tenga que ver con hospitales me gusta, es algo a lo que le tengo mucho miedo y es algo que realmente si me preocupa.
Pero bueno pro ahora no me voy a preocupar, por ahora me voy a ocupar de comprar tratamiento, buscar las diferentes citas para traumatología y cirugía, atenderla, ya que lo que más deseo para mis hijos es que estén bien y alejados de cualquier problema de salud.
Algunas cosas están saliendo bien otras no tanto, pero ahí vamos rendirse no es la opción.
