A Beautiful Morning
The sun was shiny but very calm on the outside. Fresh air soothes the skin which makes the weather so lovely. Birds from our neighborhood were playing and flying around.
Usually, after his morning routine, he loves to sit and play for a little while In front of our house, sometimes I join him, and other times I just watch over him from the inside through the window and once he has had enough, he will cry out for me while I would join him to bring him back inside. He loves and cherishes this time of the day so much, as it brightens up his day.
The Precious Moment
On this day instead of his usual cry for Mama, Come, get me, I heard the little man say the sweetest word I ever heard. He called me Mama for the very first time🤭 my heart beeps and races so fast, can someone tap me and tell me this is real?, oh my God, it is happening 🥰 Hive baby just say his first word. It has been three days but the sweetness of his voice still echoes in my ear and a big smile spreads on my face whenever I think about it.
He no longer cries out whenever he needs our attention but says Mama
I rushed outside to give him a warm embrace. he was just so happy, he kept on smiling beautifully and repeating Mama until I answered him and said; yes my baby This made him burst out with a more beautiful smile.
Nurturing him and watching him grow has been so amazing. I have anticipated this day but I never knew hearing him call me Mama could be this beautiful and for that, I'm happy and grateful.
This also means that, more than ever before, we will be paying more attention to his words, and help him learn as much as possible. In these few days, he has tried to imitate most of the things we say, being a curious baby, he is learning very fast, and his calling of baby is now very clear. Saying Papa is still not that clear with him but with our help, he will get there in a few days.
Parenting is a tough job but comes with such great rewards. Especially, when we allow ourselves to enjoy the process of the beautiful journey.
Seeing our little ones developing and growing into an amazing human being can bring us such unimaginable joy.
I have seen lots of parents make so much fuss in the past when their little ones attain some beautiful milestones, such as saying their first words, taking their first steps, and the rest. But until now I never knew how beautiful these feelings can be.
He just celebrated his first birthday on the 18th of last month. Thanks to you guys, and our family and friends, we had so much fun and beautiful wishes on that day.
This also means that there will be more beautiful moments from him as he continues to grow and I did not plan on missing out on any of it.
