Hello my dear loving parents from this community. I hope you're all happy, well and safe.
Today I wanted to share to you my little shenanigan with my son. Here it goes!
This morning started a little earlier than usual because my baby boy Yusef woke up while the sun was still not up and the surroundings is still covered with fog.
He won't go back to sleep and wants to play so I decided to take him out to our veranda on the second floor for a little playtime. The air was cool, and the world looked really peaceful. It's our kind of usual morning everyday here in our locality.
But then, as a Filipino mom would understand, I suddenly remembered what our elders always say, “Don’t let the child be exposed to fog, or he’ll catch a cold!” So not wanting to take chances, I thought quickly. On the railing there hung a red cloth we washed yesterday. I grabbed the red cloth and placed it on Yusef’s head to keep him warm.
And oh my he looked absolutely adorable! I couldn’t help but laugh because he reminded me of Little Red Riding Hood from the fairy tale, hehe. Only this time, it’s a boy version. I jokingly called him “Yusef Red Riding Hood,” and the name stuck for the rest of our playtime, haha!
He seemed to not enjoy the red cloth at first. But as time went by he realizes he could play and munch it haha. He kept pulling at it, waving it around, and giggling every time I said his new nickname.
He was in his walker, rolling around happily while I played with him from the side. It became one of those simple yet joyful moments that remind me how precious these little everyday memories are.
Later, I put the red cloth on his head like his the local artist called "Elias" haha. And he seemed to like it he had a big smile while I took a photo of him.
It later became like a wig his wearing haha. I think I made so much fun of my son the whole time. And gladly he looked like his enjoying it as well.
That's all for today. Thanks for reading this far. Til my next post!
