yo yo yo yo Mummies and Daddies it's that time of the year again that kids look forward to and parents don't look forward to hehehehehehhe, c'mon guys it's summer break and you know what happens during summer breaks right? schools are out and kids are home and parents are always thinking of ways to entertain these little ones hehehhehe, and trust me it is no easy feat.
I am not a parent yet but I have lived with my little cousins before and I know how it feels like for them to be all at home during weekends and honestly it can be chaotic sometimes😂😂but good chaotic though.
Are you a stay-at-home parent looking for how to keep these little ones entertained? for starters you can start by buying educational toys for them, those types that keep kids busy for a very long time and also teaches them alongside as it is a win-win if you ask me, while they are busy with the toys you are busy with your own business.
As a stay-at-home parent, there are times you need to take a breather from long hours of working, you can decide to go on short or long walks with your kids and this depends on how you and your kids are feeling, while taking that walk you could stop by a park or anywhere amusing for kids as this makes kids happy. They jumping and giggling as they take the walk with you is so fun.
Harnessing your child's skills can be one of the fun things you can do to engage these little ones, does your child love drawing or painting? create an artistic environment for them with the necessary tools where they can suck in all the artistic elements and become creative.
Cooking and playing games can be one of the techniques parents can adopt to keep their kids busy during this period, teaching them how to make pancakes, noodles, bake cookies and the rest can be really fun and can serve as an avenue to bond with your kids.
For working-class parents this can be a bit challenging especially when you are working under someone, it is usually hard to make yourself available for these little ones but hey! there is always a way around it.
Most working-class parents usually take their annual leaves during this period so they can spend adequate time with their kids but what happens when your leave is postponed by your employer, what do you do? this is always a tough nut to crack, but in situations like this you could take your kids to stay with your parents or any of your relatives for the long vacation and it is super exciting when these relatives of yours also have kids of their own.
If you are far from home with your family and there is no one to look after them during this period I advise you to enroll them for summer camps, I know some parents want to be really close to their kids but when you are left with no other option this seems to be the only way out but this depends on the age of your kids though.
Summer camps are not that bad or tedious as the curriculum is not designed to make it too hectic for kids instead it is designed to bring out the best in your kids whilst having fun, so many great activities are carried out in summer camps and kids get to meet new people and establish new relationships, so it's a great idea if you look into it properly.
There are so many ways to keep these little ones busy or entertained, you just have to look deep, c'mon you are the parent of these kids, and who else knows them better than you? if all of these little tips I have highlighted don't do the job then I advise you to be creative and come up with amazing fun activities to keep your kids entertained😃
Thanks for stopping by
Loads of Love🥰🥰
