Saludos queridas madres y padres de esta comunidad, como les comenté en mi anterior publicación con respecto a la salud de Rafael la cita en la clínica especializada en cardiología era hoy así que nos fuimos a las 5 de la mañana desde mi ciudad para estar a tiempo para la consulta, esta era necesaria por haberse descubierto en los exámenes preoperatorios para la adenotonsilectomía que el nació con el corazón del lado derecho , una condición llamada Dextrocardia.
Greetings dear mothers and fathers of this community, as I told you in my previous post regarding Rafael's health, the appointment at the specialized cardiology clinic was today, so we left at 5 in the morning from my city to be on time. for the consultation, this was necessary because it was discovered in the preoperative tests for the adenotonsillectomy that he was born with a right-sided heart, a condition called Dextrocardia.
De nuevo pagamos un carro por puesto para estar a tiempo, mi amiga @Yetsimar nos acompañó, me sorprendió mucho ver tantos niños esperando para la consulta como también tantos pacientes para las demás áreas, la cola para recibir el ticket de pago para luego hacer otra cola para la taquilla de pago fue larga, pero al mismo tiempo me sentí bien al darme cuenta que existe tal clínica en mi estado donde las personas con problemas cardíacos y los niños con problemas congénitos en el corazón puedan acudir con médicos especializados en el área, me sentí confiada de que allí podrían darme información que calmara mi preocupación. Después de la cola del pago y espera de acuerdo al orden de llegada, el primer paso fue entrar al área donde le hicieron un electrocardiograma a Rafael, allí mismo lo pesaron y midieron, la encargada de hacer eso fue muy amable.

After queuing for payment and waiting according to the order of arrival, the first step was to enter the area where Rafael had an electrocardiogram, they weighed and measured him right there, the person in charge of doing that was very kind.
Luego debimos esperar para ser llamados a la consulta con la cardiólogo para que ella tomara los datos de historial médico de Rafael, una vez hecho nos envió con la otra doctora encargada de hacer el ecocardiograma, esta vio que el corazón de mi hijos está ubicado del lado derecho pero a nivel estructural está sano y no presenta ningún tipo de cardiopatía, la doctora hizo la observación que los demás órganos cercanos están también en el lado opuesto, me dijo específicamente que el estómago el hígado están igualmente del otro lado.
Then we had to wait to be called to consult with the cardiologist so that she could take the data from Rafael's medical history, once it was done, she sent us to the other doctor in charge of doing the echocardiogram, she saw that my children's heart is located in the right side but structurally it is healthy and does not present any type of heart disease, the doctor made the observation that the other nearby organs are also on the opposite side, she specifically told me that the stomach and the liver are also on the other side.
De regreso con la cardióloga encargada de la consulta, la doctora le midió la presión a Rafael y terminó de llenar el informe de la valoración cardiovascular, ella se encargo de explicarme que la Dextrocardia de mi hijo es una variedad anatómica, que no trae ningún tipo de complicación y que no tiene ningún impedimento para realizar la cirugía de la nariz, esto me hizo sentir muy tranquila, además ella fue muy amable Rafael y eso me gusto mucho porque se nota que es una doctora que le gusta lo que hace y trata muy bien a sus pacientes, como recomendación final me dio una orden para realizar una ecografía abdominal cuando yo pudiera solo para que viera la ubicación de todos sus órganos abdominales que en este caso están del lado opuesto.
Back with the cardiologist in charge of the consultation, the doctor measured Rafael's blood pressure and finished filling out the cardiovascular assessment report. She took it upon herself to explain to me that my son's Dextrocardia is an anatomical variety, which does not have any type of of complications and that she has no impediment to perform nose surgery, this made me feel very calm, besides, she was very kind Rafael and I liked that a lot because it shows that she is a doctor who likes what she does and treats very good to his patients, as a final recommendation he gave me an order to perform an abdominal ultrasound when I could just so that I could see the location of all his abdominal organs, which in this case are on the opposite side.
Con la valoración cardiológica lista ya tenemos visto bueno para proceder con los demás tramites para la próxima cirugía de la nariz de Rafael, me siento aún un poco cansada del estrés anterior pero se que todo lo que estamos haciendo es por un bien mayor en la salud de mi hijo, ahora sé que mi hijo es más especial de lo que imaginé pero es un niño de buen corazón ❤
With the cardiological evaluation ready we already have the go-ahead to proceed with the other procedures for Rafael's next nose surgery, I still feel a little tired from the previous stress but I know that everything we are doing is for a greater good in health from my son, now I know that my son is more special than I imagined but he is a good-hearted boy ❤
