El día 2 de abril se conmemora el día concienciación sobre el autismo y si soy sincera debo decir que mucho sobre este tema no sabía ya que no me a tocado vivirlo en propia piel, sin embargo las vueltas de la vida hacen que uno se relacione con un sin fin de personas y entre todas ellas mediante el homeschooling conocí a grandes mamás guerreras de bellos niños azules, niños de grandes capacidades las cuales muchas veces están dormidas esperando salir en el momento justo, momento donde deslumbran como uno jamás podría tener idea.
Se cree que 1 de cada 51 niños está dentro del espectro autista en Chile , una tasa no menor si nos vamos al punto de que esta patología no tiene mucha ayuda dentro del país. Dentro de mi ignorancia al tema desconocia la discriminación que estos bellos niños y niñas sufren a lo largo de su infancia, el espectro autista (tea) cuya condición de origen neurobiologico afecta parte del sistema nervioso y su funcionamiento cerebral, algo así como dijo una de las mamás del grupo de homeschooling chile ”a veces piensan que nuestros hijos están desconfigurados, piensan que su cabeza es como una computadora que pueden formatear y volverla a echar a andar y que así todo estará bien, piensan de forma errónea porque nuestro hijos están bien dentro de un mundo que está mal”, cuando leí eso sentí toda la fuerza que esa mamá expresaba en letras, quizás en ese momento sintió rabia, desesperación, incomprensión del sector que desconoce todo acerca de esta condición, empecé a entender una parte que no entendía y la admiración empezó a salir en medio de cada mensaje que una mamá azul exponía.
En medio de esto me quiero enfocar en la parte académica, un mundo que para cualquier niño es difícil, pero para estos pequeños y pequeñas donde el ruido es una tortura la educación se vuelve un centro de discriminación primeramente para el niño o niña y luego para su entorno familiar, en este año he tratado vía mensaje con más de cien mamás, mamás guerreras que van a la batalla junto a sus hijos, el homeschooling les dio una tranquilidad y oportunidad que las escuelas no les brindaron, un espacio calmo y conocido para que sus pequeños estudien en la comodidad de de su hogar, no tienen la necesidad de usar pantallas qué los puedan alterar y avanzan en sus estudios a su propio ritmo, sin competir con con nadie, sin discriminaciones, sin nadie que pueda decirles “tu hijo no presta atención”, una enseñanza colmada de amor y armonía.
En estos mensajes llegan muchas veces imágenes de guías qué estos niños realizan, errores comunes los cuales van superando, mamás asombradas porque empezaron a escribir, leer, donde han mejorado su motricidad fina, imaginó su felicidad y la comparto porque el logro de un hijo se festeja a lo grande y en este grupo de más de 660 mamás festejamos todas, nos ayudamos todas y si debemos pelear contra el sistema lo haremos todas.
¿Pero qué pasa con esta modalidad de estudio? Para acreditar que nuestros hijos aprenden deben someterse a un examen de validación, dicho examen puede darse en dos fechas las cuales son en junio y la siguiente en octubre solo una apta para niños NNE (niños con necesidades especiales), para poder optar a su inscripción deben presentar algunos documentos entre los cuales están: certificado de diagnóstico de la discapacidad o trastorno obligatorio, carnet de discapacidad que entrega el neurólogo en conjunto a la asistente social, certificado de nacimiento y datos personales de la madre o tutor legal aparte de los datos del menor. En esta instancia de inscripción la mamá debe hacerlo de forma presencial y así poder optar al colegio examinador más cercano al domicilio o comuna, además de eso los niños presentan su examen en mesas dispuestas en el pasillo del colegio alejadas unas de otras y si madre o tutor pueden hacerle compañía obviamente sin responder las preguntas del examen por sus hijos, en ese sentido cada colegio es considerado ya que presta la ayuda necesaria al niño o niña, pero si en estas instancias son capaces de hacerlo ¿por qué no lo hacen el resto del año? Osea que al inscribirlos de forma presencial las escuelas no se hacen cargo pero al dar exámenes libres prestan la ayuda necesaria ¿será acaso que por un día no es molestia pero un año completo si? Eso es una discriminación en todos los sentidos, pero hoy día la sociedad cada día está peor.
Cada día trato de informarme más en cosas relacionadas al tea y así poder ayudar a esas mamás con material de estudio qué sea más eficaz para sus hijos, prestar ayuda en ese sentido por ahora es lo único que puedo hacer, quizás aliviará la carga de sus hombros un poquito buscando el material de aprendizaje para ellos y como decimos en el grupo los niños que cuidamos son nuestro tesoro por eso te ayudo y me ayudó porque si remamos juntas y fuertes sacaremos a adelante a cada uno de nuestros pequeños inteligentes.
No soy mamá azul pero soy homeschooler azul, una que aprende un poco más cada día para ayudar de mejor manera a quien lo necesita, me siento orgullosa de conocer a estas madres de familia.
Ahora lo que llamó mucho mi atención fue una noticia expuesta en el diario últimas noticias donde hacen alusión a una revolucionaria terapia la cual se llama MeRT la cual dice que está basada es una estimulación magnética transcraneal la cual ayudaría a mejorar la comunicación neuronal, en dicha nota noticiosa indican números telefónicos para agendar una evaluación además de un link donde conocerán los testimonios de diversas familias de Chile, Panamá y Estados Unidos. La verdad no se que tan real sea esto quizás alguno de ustedes sepa algo al respecto.

On April 2 is commemorated the autism awareness day and if I am honest I must say that I did not know much about this topic since I have not lived it in my own skin, however the twists and turns of life make one relates to endless people and among all of them through homeschooling I met great warrior moms of beautiful blue children, children of great abilities which often are asleep waiting to come out at the right time, a moment where they dazzle as one could never have any idea.
It is believed that 1 out of 51 children is within the autistic spectrum in Chile a rate not minor if we go to the point that this pathology does not have much help in the country. In my ignorance of the subject I was unaware of the discrimination that these beautiful boys and girls suffer throughout their childhood, the autistic spectrum (tea) whose condition of neurobiological origin affects part of the nervous system and brain function, as one of the moms of the homeschooling chile group said **"sometimes they think that our children are unconfigured, they think that their head is like a computer that they can format and restart it and that everything will be fine, when I read this I felt all the strength that this mother expressed in letters, perhaps at that moment she felt anger, despair, incomprehension of the sector that does not know everything about this condition, I began to understand a part that I did not understand and admiration began to come out in the middle of each message that a blue mother exposed.
In the middle of this I want to focus on the academic part, a world that for any child is difficult, but for these little boys and girls where noise is a torture, education becomes a center of discrimination first for the child and then for their family environment, in this year I have tried via message with more than a hundred moms, warrior moms who go to battle with their children, Homeschooling gave them a tranquility and opportunity that schools did not give them, a calm and familiar space for their little ones to study in the comfort of their home, they do not need to use screens that can alter them and they advance in their studies at their own pace, without competing with anyone, without discrimination, without anyone who can tell them "your child does not pay attention", a teaching full of love and harmony.
In these messages we often receive images of guides that these children make, common mistakes that they are overcoming, moms amazed because they began to write, read, where they have improved their fine motor skills, I imagine their happiness and I share it because the achievement of a child is celebrated in a big way and in this group of more than 660 moms we all celebrate, we all help each other and if we have to fight against the system we will all do it.
But what about this study modality? To prove that our children learn they must undergo a validation test, this test can be given on two dates which are in June and the next in October only one suitable for children NNE (children with special needs), to qualify for enrollment must submit some documents among which are: certificate of diagnosis of disability or compulsory disorder, disability card that delivers the neurologist in conjunction with the social worker, birth certificate and personal data of the mother or legal guardian apart from the data of the child. In this instance of registration the mother must do it in person and thus be able to choose the examining school closest to the home or commune, besides that the children present their exam at tables arranged in the hallway of the school away from each other and if mother or guardian can keep him company obviously without answering the test questions for their children, in that sense each school is considered as it provides the necessary assistance to the child, but if in these instances are able to do so why do not they do the rest of the year? In other words, when registering them in person the schools are not in charge but when giving free exams they provide the necessary help, could it be that for one day it is not a problem but for a whole year it is? This is discrimination in every sense, but today society is getting worse every day.
Every day I try to inform myself more about things related to tea and so I can help these moms with study material that is more effective for their children, help in that sense for now is the only thing I can do, maybe it will ease the burden on their shoulders a little bit looking for learning material for them and as we say in the group the children we take care of are our treasure so I help you and helped me because if we row together and strong we will bring forward each of our little smart.
I am not a blue mom but I am a blue homeschooler, one who learns a little more every day to better help those who need it, I am proud to know these moms.
Now what caught my attention was a news item in the newspaper últimas noticias where they allude to a revolutionary therapy which is called MeRT which says that it is based on transcranial magnetic stimulation which would help to improve neuronal communication, in this news article they indicate phone numbers to schedule an evaluation and a link where you will know the testimonies of several families from Chile, Panama and the United States. I really don't know how real this is, maybe some of you know something about it.
