MI HIJO TIENE UNA HERNIA UMBILICAL (ESP/ENG)

Unos días después de su nacimiento, notamos que a Adam no se le terminaba de meter su ombligo; en sus consultas mensuales de rutina con el pediatra lo comentamos y el pediatra nos dijo que era porque tenía una hernia, la cual era muy común en los bebés pero que cerraría alrededor de los 3 años.

Al día de hoy mi hijo ya casi cumple 4 años, los cumplirá en un mes y su hernia no ha cerrado 🥺 hace dos semanas tenía dolor en su ombligo y le notamos una mancha color negro, llamé al pediatra y nos dijo que debíamos llevarlo a urgencias porque a su edad ya necesitaba operación 😭

Ya en urgencias lo revisaron y el dolor era porque tenía una infección, al parecer se le formó una bolsita entre la piel y el músculo donde se almacenó suciedad que por la misma hernia le iba entrando al ombligo, esa suciedad era lo negro que se le veía.

Le dieron medicamento para la infección y nos pidieron hacer cita con el doctor general para que le programaran la cirugía. Hace una semana tuvimos la cita con el doctor y le pidió análisis de sangre, de orina y un ultrasonido abdominal.

Al parecer no es tan grave, ya que por la hernia no ha salido el intestino, que es cunado se les nota una bola grande en la hernia, él sólo tiene el ombliguito salido, por lo que al parecer sólo es superficial.
