Greetings, my dear and respected colleagues at Hive, especially those in my Hive account@motherhood community. We are back again to bring you brand new, completely original content. Best of all, I will be talking about my family, specifically one of my nieces. Here in Venezuela, the school year is almost over. To be more specific, it ends on the 18th of this month, which is in three days. Many children have already finished their projects, which are nothing more than representing activities that adults do. Many are celebrating the end of cycles in the different stages of education. Some will move from primary school to secondary school, others from secondary school to university, and the most beautiful stage, which is the completion of preschool, which opens the way to basic or primary education. This is the case of my niece Isabella, who at six years old is ready to begin her new stage. She was very excited to know that she will now wear the white shirt that symbolises primary school students. It will be a six-year cycle, which seems long, but in reality goes by very quickly.

Despite being only six years old, my niece has been a very studious girl. She has always liked to be one step ahead of her classmates. At five years old, she already knew how to read and write, something she reinforced in her last year of preschool. Without a doubt, this will help her at the beginning of first grade. She is already practising dictation and mathematics, and she loves to give presentations. which is a very positive thing, as many children and young people are terrified of giving presentations, either because of stage fright or because they don't feel prepared. That happened to me, despite being a teacher. It was at university where I learned to manage this fear, which is why I agree with the new teaching strategies that encourage children to interact with their classmates and teachers and become familiar with the word “project”. This is wonderful and will be the basis for creating more demanding projects.

Well, the truth is that I see Isabella well prepared to face her new academic challenge, and best of all, she enjoys learning. In that respect, she is very much like me, as I never tire of learning and searching for the reasons behind things. Now her holidays are coming, which she well deserves. I hope she enjoys them and plays a lot, living her childhood to the fullest. For my part, I hope to give her some gifts and take her out during her holidays to visit some parks. The zoo will be a lot of fun for her because she loves animals. In the photos below, you can see how happy she was at the end of this school year 2024-2025. Saludos, mis queridos y respetados compañeros de Hive, especialmente a los de mi comunidad de Hive account@motherhood, por acá estamos nuevamente para traerles contenido inédito, completamente original, lo mejor de todo es que hablaré de mi familia, específicamente de una de mis sobrinas, aquí en Venezuela está muy cerca de culminar el año escolar, para ser más específicos, el día 18 del presente mes, es decir, dentro de tres días, ya muchos niños terminaron los llamados proyectos, que no es más representar actividades que ejercen los adultos, muchos celebran el cierre de ciclos en las diferentes etapas de la educación, algunos pasaran de la primaria al bachillerato, otros del bachillerato a la Universidad, y la etapa más bonita, la cual es la culminación del preescolar, lo que abre el camino a la educación básica o primaria, este el caso de mi sobrina Isabella, quien con seis años ya está lista para comenzar su nueva etapa, estaba muy emocionada de saber que ahora usará la camisa blanca, que simboliza a los estudiantes de primaria, será un ciclo de seis años, que se ve largo, pero que en realidad se va muy rápido.

Mi sobrina a pesar de tener seis años, ha sido una niña bastante aplicada, siempre le ha gustado ir un paso por delante de sus compañeros, a los cinco años ya sabía leer y escribir, algo que reforzó en este último año en el preescolar, sin lugar a dudas eso la ayudará al inicio del primer grado, ya está practicando lo que tiene que ver con el dictado y las matemáticas, le encanta exponer, esto es algo totalmente favorable, ya que muchos niños y jóvenes le tienen pavor a las exposiciones, bien sea por miedo escénico o por no sentirse preparados, eso me pasaba a mí, a pesar de ser docente, fue en la universidad en donde aprendí a manejar este miedo, de allí que estoy de acuerdo que las nuevas estrategias de enseñanzas en donde se estimula a los niños a interactuar con sus compañeros de aula y con los docentes, que se vayan familiarizando con la palabra proyecto, esto es maravillosa y será su base a la hora de crear proyectos con mayor grado de exigencias.

Bueno, lo cierto es que veo a Isabella bien preparada para afrontar su nuevo reto académico y lo mejor de todo es que disfrutar aprendiendo, en eso se parece mucho a mí, ya que no me canso de aprender y de buscarle el porqué de las cosas, ahora vienen sus vacaciones, que bien merecida que las tiene, espero que las disfrute y que juegue bastante, que viva su etapa de niña al máximo, por mi parte espero darle algunos regalitos y sacarla durante sus vacaciones a que conozca algunos parques, el zoológico será de mucha diversión para ella, porque le encantan los animales, en las fotos que verán a continuación, pueden observar lo feliz que estaba en su cierre de proyecto de este año escolar 2024-2025, gracias a todos quienes me leen por sus comentarios, nos leeremos en una próxima publicación.
