Coincidentally, last week, one of my beautiful nieces, was taken to the zoo, as an academic activity, which also included her parents, I am a teacher and I applaud these initiatives that are taken in some schools, which encourage children to learn more about wildlife and nature, my niece is a very smart girl, but quite dependent on technology, ie phones and tablets, I have never agreed that a child owns a phone, I know that many use them to play, but others end up immersed in social networks, where they can get viral challenges, which in the end end end up being very dangerous, the truth is that little Isabella, while she was at the zoo, completely forgot about her inseparable tablet, and enjoyed her stay in this beautiful place, where she shared with her classmates, her parents and teachers.

That outing was so positive, that a few days have already passed and he still talks about that day, that he was able to meet the tigers, elephants and other species, it awakened his curiosity to learn more about animals and what exists in the world, he says he wants to go back to the zoo, that he also wants to go to the parks, that the trees are very beautiful and that thanks to them we have life on the planet, I love the turn that my niece has taken, that is why I maintain that one of the priorities that we parents should have, is to share quality time with our children in open places, that they learn by living these experiences, which for many will be new, as happened with my niece, I hope you take this publication, as a kind of reflection, we will read each other in a future publication.

Saludos, mis queridos amigos y compañeros de Hive, especialmente a los miembros de mi amada comunidad de Hive account@motherhood, por acá estoy de regreso, ya que la semana pasada no pude publicar por aquí, el día de hoy les quiero hablar sobre un tema que considero tiene bastante importancia, se trata del contacto que deben tener nuestros niños con la naturaleza y todo lo que los rodea en el mundo real, para nadie es un secreto que estamos viviendo en un mundo lleno de tecnología, que no ha llevado a un mundo paralelo o virtual, atrás quedaron esos años en donde después de las actividades escolares, solíamos hacer la tarea, para posteriormente salir a jugar con nuestros hermanos o amiguitos del sector en donde nos criamos, conocer hasta el mínimo detalle del mundo exterior, como por ejemplo, ver a una hormiga levantar cosas más pesadas que ellas, como las aves iban construyendo sus nidos, todo eso en vivo y directo, no por videos y mucho menos por redes sociales, ya que eso no existía, todos esos recuerdos me han llevado reflexionar sobre lo necesario que es sacar a nuestros hijos a lugares con un ambiente diferente al que ya se acostumbraron nuestros pequeños.

Casualmente, la semana pasada, una de mis bellas sobrinas, la llevaron al zoológico, como una actividad académica, que además incluía a sus padres, soy docente y aplaudo estas iniciativas que se toman en algunos planteles, que estimulan a los niños a conocer más de la fauna y la naturaleza, mi sobrina es una niña muy inteligente, pero bastante dependiente de la tecnología, es decir, de teléfonos y tabletas, nunca he estado de acuerdo que un niño sea dueño de un teléfono, ya que eso fue creado pensando en personas adultas, ya ellos tendrán edad para usarlos, sé que muchos los usan para jugar, pero otros terminan inmersos en las redes sociales, en donde pueden conseguirse con retos virales, que a la postre terminan siendo muy peligrosos, lo cierto es que la pequeña Isabella, mientras estuvo en el zoológico, se olvidó por completo de su inseparable tablet, y disfruto al máximo su estadía en este hermoso lugar, en donde compartió con sus compañeros de clases, sus padres y maestros.

Fue tan positiva esa salida, que ya han pasado algunos días y aún habla de ese día, de que pudo conocer a los tigres, elefantes y otras especies, despertó su curiosidad por conocer más de los animales y de lo que existe en el mundo, dice que desea volver al zoológico, que también quiere ir a los parques, que los árboles son muy bonitos y que gracias a ellos tenemos vida en el planeta, me encanta el giro que ha dado mi sobrina, por eso es que mantengo que una de las prioridades que debemos tener los padres, es el de compartir tiempo de calidad con nuestros hijos en sitios abiertos, que aprendan viviendo esas experiencias, que para muchos serán nuevas, así como pasó con mi sobrina, espero que tomen esta publicación, como una especie de reflexión, nos leeremos en una próxima publicación.
