Today's still summer break in the Philippines. It's in the fourth week of vacation.And I think summer is the best days to let the child learn lessons in a more meaningful way.
During weekdays from Monday til Thursday I have my half of an hour spending time to my daughter teaching some basic lessons.
While Friday will be spent for her playing time..
Other kids together with her brother were busy flying kites outside, riding bicycles,while my daughter Bea was busy preparing all her study materials.
While I'm the one setting up the tables and chairs,she was also busy choosing books borrowing from her brother's things..
She loved so much to explore about Science --the Oceans and the Continents😂 because this was the book she borrowed from her kuya..
Though the book is quiete old,she used to love this ever since..of all the books shed saw this what made her interested😂😊
I asked her to prepare her books, notebooks and pens,but what she did was borrowed all the things from her elder brother😂
The amazing plants in the rainforest, the animals that lives in the ocean.She got interested to talk about sharks, whales,sea turtle and many more sea creatures
The lesson of the day became more enjoyable and fun for both of us, enjoying learning different science terms and most of all learning to be kind and patient towards my daughter's curiousity was a bit challenging 😂
The different questions"why and how" sometimes were difficult to deal with,but as a mother I am the best teacher to my child's eyes😂
So she's satisfied with my answers and teachings of the day..and as a reward for her I let her grant her request to watch her favorite movie" the Barbie"
An extraordinary summer days learning at home could be very fun while discovering different things together with the mother's love and guidance..
