Hoy es un día muy especial por celebrarse el natalicio número 231 de un héroe patrio oriundo de la ciudad de Cumaná, lugar donde vivimos, se trata de Antonio José de Sucre quien participó activamente en las luchas independentistas de países como Perú, Bolivia, Ecuador y Venezuela acompañando a Simón Bolívar en muchas de sus batallas. Este personaje ilustre un día como hoy se le rinde honores en las Instituciones públicas e Instituciones Educativas como es de esperarse, por lo que en la escuela de mi hijo se le asignó a él hacer la disertación sobre la vida del Gran Mariscal de Ayacucho durante el cívico, antes de entonar las gloriosas notas del Himno Nacional.
Today is a very special day as we celebrate the 231st anniversary of the birth of a national hero from the city of Cumaná, where we live. This is Antonio José de Sucre, who actively participated in the independence struggles of countries like Peru, Bolivia, Ecuador, and Venezuela, accompanying Simón Bolívar in many of his battles. This illustrious figure is honored today in public and educational institutions, as is to be expected. Therefore, at my son's school, he was assigned to give a presentation on the life of the Grand Marshal of Ayacucho during the civic assembly, before the singing of the glorious notes of the National Anthem.
Su maestra me llamo la semana pasada notificándome que mi hijo se ofreció de voluntario para esta actividad llenándome de orgullo, ya que como les he dicho en publicaciones pasadas mi hijo no teme hablar en público más bien se siente muy cómodo participando en esta clase de actividades. Tuvo una semana para prepararse, para ello le saque lo más importante de su vida y trayectoria para la biografía y mi hijo en tres días ya dominaba el tema, por lo que iniciamos las practicas sin ningún tipo de apoyo haciéndolo muy bien.
His teacher called me last week to let me know that my son had volunteered for this activity, which filled me with pride. As I've mentioned in previous posts, my son isn't afraid of public speaking; in fact, he feels very comfortable participating in these kinds of activities. He had a week to prepare, so I gave him the most important information about his life and career for his biography. In just three days, my son had mastered the topic, so we started practicing without any support, and he did very well.
Esta mañana llegamos bien temprano, la maestra me permitió estar en la actividad y pude tomar las fotos que hoy les comparto, el acto comenzó con las palabras de la directora, quien presento la efeméride del día y luego mi hijo hizo su disertación de la biografía de Antonio José de Sucre, con mucho dominio, seguridad y excelente tono de voz, después entonaron el himno nacional, para finalizar al pasar a los salones se les repartió dibujos de este personaje para que los niños dibujaran. Como madre me siento muy complacida de que la escuela promueva este tipo de actos donde los estudiantes son los protagonistas, y a ustedes como padres los insto a apoyar a sus hijos en sus actividades escolares, hasta una próxima oportunidad.
This morning we arrived very early. The teacher allowed me to attend the activity, and I was able to take the photos I'm sharing with you today. The event began with remarks from the principal, who presented the day's historical event. Then my son gave his presentation on the biography of Antonio José de Sucre, with great confidence and an excellent voice. Afterward, they sang the national anthem. Finally, as everyone returned to their classrooms, the children were given drawings of Sucre to color.
