Seguimos de vacaciones y esta semana fue de grandes avances para esta familia, Marcela y Miranda fueron al fin a su primer Plan Vacacional. La asustada era yo, la nerviosa era yo, la preocupada era yo, y la verdad es que tenia muchas dudas sobre el tema pero me llegó la información de un Plan Vacacional al que una amiga llevaría a su hija y me sentí animada con la idea. Fue así como me puse en contacto con la encargada por WhatsApp y decidí inscribirlas. No les conté a las niñas hasta ese mismo día que comenzaba el plan y así les expliqué de que trataba la cosa, las reglas, me hicieron todas sus preguntas y me aseguré de que todo quedara claro.
El plan vacacional duró 5 días de lunes a viernes y el horario era de 2:00 pm a 4:30 pm, y me gustó además porque las personas a cargo son maestras y le pidieron a cada niño llevar un cuaderno, libro y útiles para hacer algunas actividades estilo Tareas Dirigidas, cosa que hago con mis hijas casi todos los días en casa pero yo también estoy de vacaciones y por estos días me quité ese peso de encima. Así que hicieron actividades escolares, pintaron, recortaron, bailaron, jugaron, conocieron a otros niños, y me dieron dos horas y media al día de descanso que aproveché para visitar a mis padres y a algunas otras personas que hace rato no veía. Este plan vacacional se llevó a cabo en una posada que funciona como pizzería por las noches y que está en el pueblo donde vive casi toda mi familia.
Tuvieron un día de repostería en el que hicieron galletas y una torta que compartieron todos antes de salir, ellos se encargaron de todos los materiales así que no tuve que preocuparme por nada. Todas las fotos fueron enviadas por sus maestras a través de un grupo de WhatsApp creado para compartir información y lo relativo a las actividades de la semana. Este plan vacacional de 5 días tuvo un valor de 5$, creo que muchos no lo van a creer pero ese fue el monto que cancelé por cada una de mis hijas, así que estoy casi segura de que las volveré a llevar una vez salgamos de varias consultas médicas pendientes esta próxima semana.

Y aquí está la galleta mas linda y bella del mundo, la galleta que con mucho amor y cariño me hicieron mis princesas. Hicieron una para papá también pero se la comió enseguida, yo al contrario no me la quería comer y quería conservarla de recuerdo por siempre pero insistieron en que tenía que probarla para darles mi opinión y por supuesto estaba DELICIOSA. Su carita de emoción y esos ojitos brillando de orgullo me quedaron en el corazón.
El viernes fue el último día y la despedida incluía acceso a la piscina, que emoción y que susto. Pero ya habíamos ido a esta piscina y sabemos que no es honda así que esta apta para niños pequeños porque ahí celebramos el cumpleaños N°6 de Marcela el año pasado. Todos los días nos contaban lo que hacían en su plan vacacional con mucha emoción, los nombres de todos esos nuevos amiguitos y cada cosa divertida que pasaba, las tareas que hacían, y como cada día querían volver a estar ahí, eso me dice que el ambiente es el ideal y que la atención y el cuidado de las personas también es la correcta.
Para el día de la piscina nos ofrecieron una mini pizza por un costo adicional de 1$, fue lo único extra que cancelamos y pueden ver el tamaño de la mini pizza. Esto era opcional pero como a las niñas les encanta la pizza y estaba súper económica accedimos. Cada una se comió su "merienda" y terminó su día y su semana feliz de la vida. Yo espero que de verdad esta experiencia nos ayude a todos a tener mas confianza, mas seguridad y que para ellas sea un maravilloso recuerdo de estas vacaciones que estamos tratando de que sean divertidas y diferentes para ellas que cada día crecen y crecen y se hacen mas curiosas.
Mis recomendaciones para todos aquellos papis y mamis que como yo han tenido dudas sobre un plan vacacional para sus hijos son las siguientes:
- No todos ofrecen lo mismo, infórmate y evalúa si sus actividades se adecúan a las necesidades y edades de tus hijos.
- Investiga, consulta, pregunta sobre las personas a cargo, la institución o quien ofrece el plan vacacional. Que no te queden dudas.
- Busca uno que se adapte a tu presupuesto, puede haber planes vacacionales maravillosos pero demasiado costosos que solo te complicaran.
- Infórmate sobre el lugar donde se llevará a cabo, asegúrate de que sean instalaciones seguras sin acceso de extraños y sin que puedan salir sin supervisión. También mientras mas cerca de tu hogar mejor.
- Que su horario sea cómodo y te permita tener unas horas al día de descanso, recreación o para realizar otras actividades.
- Que tenga un plan o cronograma de actividades que sepas con anticipación.
- Que esté lleno de diversión y cosas nuevas para ellos.
Espero que sean útiles estos últimos tips, recuerda que lo mas importante es que tus hijos puedan tener espacios de diversión en vacaciones y que no siempre tienen que ser contigo. Suelta un poco, les hará bien a todos. Nos leemos pronto.

We are still on vacation and this week was great progress for this family, Marcela and Miranda finally went to their first Vacation Plan. The scared one was me, the nervous one was me, the worried one was me, and the truth is that I had many doubts about the subject but I received information about a Vacation Plan to which a friend would take her daughter and I felt encouraged by the idea . That was how I contacted the person in charge by WhatsApp and decided to register them. I didn't tell the girls until that very day that the plan started and that's how I explained what it was about, the rules, they asked me all their questions and I made sure everything was clear.
The vacation plan lasted 5 days from Monday to Friday and the hours were from 2:00 pm to 4:30 pm, and I also liked it because the people in charge are teachers and they asked each child take a notebook, book and supplies to do some activities like Directed Tasks, which I do with my daughters almost every day at home but I am also on vacation and these days I took that weight off my shoulders. So they did school activities, they painted, they cut out, they danced, they played, they met other children, and they gave me two and a half hours a day off that I took advantage of to visit my parents and some other people I hadn't seen for a while. This vacation plan was carried out in an inn that works as a pizzeria at night and is in the town where most of my family lives.
They had a baking day where they made cookies and a cake that they all shared before leaving, they took care of all the materials so I didn't have to worry about a thing. All the photos were sent by their teachers through a WhatsApp group created to share information and what is related to the activities of the week. This 5-day vacation plan had a value of $5, I think many will not believe it, but that was the amount I paid for each of my daughters, so I'm almost sure I'll take them back once we leave several pending medical consultations this coming week.

And here is the cutest and most beautiful cookie in the world, the cookie that my princesses made me with a lot of love and care. They made one for dad too but he ate it right away, on the contrary I didn't want to eat it and wanted to keep it as a souvenir forever but they insisted that I had to try it to give them my opinion and of course it was DELICIOUS. His little face of emotion and those little eyes shining with pride stayed in my heart.
Friday was the last day and the farewell included access to the pool, what a thrill and what a scare. But we had already been to this pool and we know that it is not deep so it is suitable for small children because we celebrated Marcela's 6th birthday there last year. Every day they told us what they did in their vacation plan with a lot of emotion, the names of all those new friends and every fun thing that happened, the tasks they did, and how every day they wanted to be there again, that tells me that the environment is ideal and that the attention and care of people is also correct.
For the pool day they offered us a mini pizza for an additional cost of 1$, it was the only extra thing we canceled and you can see the size of the mini pizza. This was optional but since the girls love pizza and it was super cheap, we agreed. They each ate their "snack" and ended their day and week happily ever after. I really hope that this experience will help us all to have more confidence, more security and that for them it will be a wonderful memory of these vacations that we are trying to make fun and different for them who grow and grow and become more every day. curious.
My recommendations for all those moms and dads who, like me, have had doubts about a vacation plan for their children are the following:
- Not all of them offer the same, find out and evaluate if their activities are adapted to the needs and ages of your children.
- Investigate, consult, ask about the people in charge, the institution or who offers the vacation plan. Do not have any dought.
- Look for one that suits your budget, there may be wonderful but too expensive vacation plans that will only complicate you.
- Find out about the place where it will take place, make sure that they are secure facilities without access by strangers and without them being able to leave without supervision. Also the closer to home the better.
- That your schedule is comfortable and allows you to have a few hours a day of rest, recreation or to carry out other activities.
- Have a plan or schedule of activities that you know in advance.
- May it be full of fun and new things for them.
