vamos a compartir un poco sobre las alergias y nuestros hijos, por lo que les quiero contar mi experiencia con la única alergia que sufre mi hija Marcela y que a muchos les parece poco importante y hasta tonta. Se trata de la alergia a las picadas de mosquitos o zancudos y que nos han hecho sufrir una gran tortura. Todo empezó con una picada de zancudo que mi bebé de 1 año y medio no paraba de rascar, por más que usara pantalón largo ella siempre encontraba la manera de rascarse la pierna a la altura de la pantorrilla y se lastimaba de nada. En Venezuela estos mosquitos están en todos lados y ya hemos aprendido a lidiar con ellos pero siempre son y serán un problema.

Las piernas de mi bebé se llenaron un día de picadas y nada calmaba su ardor, le aplicaba CALAMINOL pero un mañana despertó con una gran herida y con fiebre, al contarle a la pediatra me pidió que la llevara a la clínica donde ella trabaja y para hacer el cuento corto, Marcela estuvo hospitalizada por 7 días por una infección en una picada que se convirtió en una celulitis muy grande. Mi bebé sufrió muchísimo, fueron días terribles y me dolía mucho que incluso familiares dijeran cosas como "por Dios que tanto es una picada", "que drama por nada", "tanto alboroto y eso se quita con sábila", y otros comentarios llenos de ignorancia porque sí, si existe la alergia a las picaduras de algunos insectos.
My baby's legs were filled with bites one day and nothing calmed his burning, I applied CALAMINOL but one morning he woke up with a large wound and with a fever. When he told the pediatrician he asked me to will take her to the clinic where she works and to make a short story short, Marcela was hospitalized for 7 days for an infection in a bite that turned into a very large cellulitis. My baby suffered a lot, they were terrible days and it hurt me a lot that even family members said things like "by God it's so much a bite", "what a drama for nothing", "so much fuss and that is removed with aloe", and other full comments of ignorance because yes, if there is an allergy to the bites of some insects.
Libramos una batalla muy fuerte porque además del sufrimiento de mi bebé y de no poder caminar a esa edad, las condiciones en las que estábamos en la clínica no eran las mejores. Eso nos hizo aprender y entender que con nuestros hijos debemos cuidar de cada mínima cosa porque ellos son más vulnerables y sensibles a cosas que ni nos imaginamos. Aprendimos a invertir en nuestro botiquín de primeros auxilios y a ser más proactivos sobre esas situaciones.
We fought a very strong battle because in addition to my baby's suffering and not being able to walk at that age, the conditions we were in at the clinic were not the best. That made us learn and understand that with our children we must take care of every little thing because they are more vulnerable and sensitive to things that we don't even imagine. We learned to invest in our first aid kit and to be more proactive about those situations.
Marcela desde entonces sufre de irritación en la piel, algunas picadas se le inflaman y se asusta cuando se ve alguna herida, también se cuida y me pide su cremita para evitar rascarse. Juntos estamos atentos de los síntomas y tratamos cualquier erupción en su piel con cremas que aprovecho para recomendar, como también el uso de repelente aunque no haya mosquitos visibles como mi preferido Repelente OFF, otra crema para la irritación de la piel como el CALAMINOL y el ANDANTOL. Estás tres son mi llave para atacar la alergia de mi bebé ahora de 5 años así como también debo recomendar que para cada caso se debe consultar al médico primero.
Marcela has suffered from skin irritation since then, some bites become inflamed and she gets scared when she sees a wound, she also takes care of herself and asks me for her cream to avoid scratching herself. Together we are attentive to the symptoms and we treat any rash on your skin with creams that I take the opportunity to recommend, as well as the use of repellent even if there are no visible mosquitoes such as my favorite Repellent OFF, another cream for skin irritation such as CALAMINOL and ANDANTOL. These three are my key to attack my baby's allergy, now 5 years old, as well as I must recommend that for each case the doctor should be consulted first.

Pocos aprenden de la experiencia ajena pero en el caso de los hijos, vale la pena prestar atención a otras experiencias ya que nos pueden dar un poco de luz en medio de la oscuridad que vivimos cuando tenemos a nuestros tesoros enfermos o padeciendo de alguna enfermedad.
Few learn from the experience of others but in the case of children, it is worth paying attention to other experiences since they can give us a little light in the middle of the darkness that we live when we have to our treasures sick or suffering from some disease.
