En esta ocasión quiero hablarles de cómo es un día normal cuidando de Paula o mejor conocida como “La niña unicornio”.
This time I want to talk to you about what a normal day is like taking care of Paula or better known as “The Unicorn Girl”.
Cuidar de la pequeña Pau no es algo muy fácil por muy sencillo que parezca, pues a pesar de ser una niña muy tierna y risueña, suele tener un carácter fuerte a la hora de hacer un “berrinche monstruoso” (así le bautizamos su madre y yo jajaja). A veces se levanta de mal humor o con una hiperactividad que agota.
Taking care of little Pau is not something very easy, no matter how simple it may seem, because despite being a very tender and smiling girl, she tends to have a strong character when it comes to throwing a “monstrous tantrum” (that's how we baptized her mother and me hahaha). Sometimes he wakes up in a bad mood or with exhausting hyperactivity.
Normalmente cuando está de buen humor ella toma su desayuno mientras ve caricaturas (le gusta ver la casa de Mikey Mause) después de eso le voy enseñando a como cepillarse los dientes, ya que ella no me deja que ayudarla jajaja. Al momento de comer a veces es complicado, pues hay cosas que no les gusta o simplemente no le gusta como se ve y no quiere comer. He tenido mucha paciencia para que aprenda a comer ciertas cosas, pero ahí vamos mejorando cada día jeje. Pero sin duda su comida favorita es el espagueti, ya sea con cualquier cosa, mientras sea con pasta esa niña literalmente se devora todo jajaja.
Usually when she's in a good mood she eats her breakfast while watching cartoons (she likes to see Mikey Mause's house) after that I'm teaching her how to brush her teeth, since she won't let me help her hahaha. At the time of eating it is sometimes complicated, because there are things that they do not like or simply do not like how it looks and does not want to eat. I have had a lot of patience for him to learn to eat certain things, but there we are improving every day hehe. But without a doubt her favorite food is spaghetti, either with anything, as long as it is with pasta that girl literally devours everything hahaha.
Posteriormente la cambio y ahí vamos jugando o haciendo cualquier tipo de actividades recreativas a parte de ver una que otra caricatura. No me gusta que se entretenga mucho con la televisión o tabletas porque siento que se pierde mucho de la diversión que un juguete puede ofrecer. En particular le gusta jugar mucho con Bloque o legos y además de eso le gusta mucho pintar, así que es lo que más hacemos.
Later I change it and there we go playing or doing any type of recreational activities apart from seeing one or another cartoon. I do not like to be entertained a lot with television or tablets because I feel like a lot of the fun that a toy can offer is lost. In particular he likes to play a lot with Blocks or legos and besides that he likes to paint a lot, so that's what we do the most.
Su madre ya me indicó que le gustaría que hiciera con ella alguna que otra tarea y eso me animó mucho para así enseñarle las letras y los números (aunque ya sabe contar hasta Diez). Más adelante les contaré cómo van los avances con eso. En fin, Paula es una niña muy inteligente para su edad y sé que con mucha paciencia y dedicación le ira muy bien cuando comience ir a la escuela. Lo que nos preocupa es la convivencia con otros niños, pues a pesar de que le gusta la compañía de ellos le cuesta compartir sus cosas y hace el “berrinche monstruoso” jajaja.
Her mother already told me that she would like me to do some other task with her and that encouraged me a lot to teach her letters and numbers (although she already knows how to count to ten). Later I will tell you how progress is going with that. Anyway, Paula is a very intelligent girl for her age and I know that with a lot of patience and dedication she will do very well when she starts going to school. What worries us is living with other children, because even though he likes their company, it is difficult for him to share his things and he throws the “monstrous tantrum” hahaha.
A lo llegar su madre es hora de irme y es uno de los momentos más difíciles del día, pues paula toma como costumbre aferrarse a mis piernas para no dejarme ir jajaja, a veces simplemente se me atraviesa en la puerta y me dice: “Mani no quiere ir”. Su madre usa ese momento para darle su merienda y así distraerla para yo poder aprovechar de escabullirme por sí decirlo jajaja.
When her mother arrives it is time to go and it is one of the most difficult moments of the day, as Paula takes as a habit to hold on to my legs so as not to let me go hahaha, sometimes she just crosses me at the door and says: “Mani I do not want to go". Her mother uses that moment to give her her snack and thus distract her so that I can take advantage of sneaking out by myself hahaha.
Aparte de eso la pequeña Pau es una ternurita y un rayo de luz que llegó a la vida de su madre, sus familiares y en mi vida algo solitaria.
Apart from that, little Pau is a cute little girl and a ray of light that reached her mother's life, her relatives and in my life something lonely.
