Howdy everyone! I hope everyone's doing great! Today, my kids and I are going to the hospital for my younger kid's follow up check up. And one of the important person in my life is also there (her son is confined due to pneumonia)...and this is about me and that person...a bit of story about us. So let me ask you a question first;
Do you have someone who is with you from when you're still young till now? and How does it feel to have one?
I may not have any brother or a sister but I do have her...my cousin, my best friend, and most of all, my sister and my 1st daughter...
Haydee
So this woman is very important to me. If there's someone I could trust aside from my husband, it would be her.
She grew up with an older sister with mental problem and a little brother. While she was still in school, she is also the one responsible for taking care of her siblings everytime her mom and dad are not around.
This woman grew up with many problems surrounding her...financially, emotionally and mentally...she was also bullied back then...and these struggles made her gain her strength and she is undoubtedly STRONG.
Before
I am three years older than Haydee. Back then (till now), I consider her my 1st daughter.
When we were still in elementary, I remember the times where someone bullied her and I stood up for her, knocked down the bullies and got scolded because of fighting.
I also remember the times where I would go to her mom trembling just to ask her if she'd let Haydee stay with us...I am scared doing this because most of the times, I got rejected...but I still do because I am eager to be with her. We also took baths together...even when we were both pregnant with our 2nd babies!
We went to different high schools but she comes into our place during vacation for she helps us in our mini grocery.
It is so much fun being with her. Also, my birthday would never be complete if she's not around.
During our college days, we also went to different schools. And on her 1st year of college, she got pregnant with her 1st baby. It was a very hard time for her...she stayed with us when she was still pregnant and went back home when the child was born.
She continued her studies. I also graduated and worked from a place to another, still supporting her with a bit of my salary.
Now
As of today, We both have 2 kids. Hers, a nine year-old beautiful girl and a 2 year-old son. Mine are both girls- A Five years old and a Two years old.
She is now working in the Municipality of Tuba as a Social Worker and I am with the Department of Education.
We still have that bond. We communicate, we share problems (especially in money-but not all), we have secrets, we support each other and most of all, we love each other.
That's about us...We are truly grateful for each other's lives.
These are our photos I have collected.
We took this photo back in 2006 near my boarding house. I was 2nd year college this time and she was still in her fourth year of high school.
We do crazy stuffs together and for this, we braided each other's hair to achieve a curled hair on the other day.
Twinning-as we Filipinos call when you're wearing the same color or style. That's her first baby right there and I am pregnant with my first born baby too.
Going to church together. Isn't she gorgeous!
This was when we went to Burnham...we also wore the same shirt color.
Look at her eyes...like she's gonna cry because her sister is getting married...I was three-month pregnant during my wedding day.
High school days...yep! We take crazy photos together.
This was taken in the river near our house.
Thank you for reading my blog.
All of the photos are mine.
How about you and your best friend? What's your story?
