What's up everyone?I hope you are all doing great today.
Graduates and promoted students,Congratulations
Today's is my son's moving up ceremony and so other schools too we,he is promoted to Grade two and as a mom I am so proud of his little achievements.
Today this morning,I got a sore eyes and I am not feeling wel ,my left eye is swollen and I am not comfortable of it.But since today is my son's moving up ceremony ,even if I am not feeling well ,I still able to attend amd witness his little achievements.
Good thing that my niece have some eyedrops and I used it for my eyes.Anyway ,the sore eyes I've got is from my niece partner,the sore eyes in our family was starterd from him and this morning ,I and my little son got the sore eyes too.
The ceremony is started at 1 in the afternoon ,good thing that my eyes feels better.
So ,we went to the school to attend the program.
My son told me that he is not one of the honor student as he got 89% not able to get the average of 90% but still I am so proud of him ,his grades is not bad at all and I know how much he works hard for it.
And I am so happy that he still get an award ,the honest kid award.So proud of my son.
While looking at the promoted students ,I remember my childhood days.I was a consistent honor students from grade one to grade four.And when I was on my 5th grade ,I started to have a barkadas(a circle of friend)and there I started skipping from my class with my friends and thats one the reason I got a lower grades.
As a mom I make sure now that it won't happen to my son ,day by day I always keep reminding him to study harder for his future coz I and my husband does'nt have any wealth to give to them but we will o our best to support their studies and reach their dreams.
I keep reminding my son that we are not pressuring him to got a higher grades or honors award ,what we always asked is he will study and work hard in every steps for his bright future.
While we are at the venue ,I took some photos as a remembrance for his journey and while looking at him ,I really realize how fast the time flies ,it just like yesterday that I carried him in my arms and now ,I can't carried him anymore and maybe on the coming years ,he will taller thane haha.
The grade one student presents their poem intitled "I am a tree" and they had a tree look like costume.
While waiting for the ceremony to finish ,anyway some students prepared some presentations for this ceremony too.
But then suddenly ,I feel uncomfy ,I got a headache and I feel a pain on my eyes so we decided to go home.
After an hour when we got home ,I recieved a message from my co-parent telling that I got an award too haha ,I got a certificate of appreciation from my son's teacher for being a supportive parents and most cooperative parent.
But for me ,there's no need to give this certificate to me ,I am just doing my part and my role for my sone but still I am happy and appreciate this certificate they gave to me.
