Daily Challenge: #MomLife Week 26 [ENG – ESP] || Mi primer Día de la Madre - My first Mother's Day

Antes el Día de la Madre para mi era festejar a mi mamá con un regalo y una reunión familiar en la que por lo general estaban mis tías, primas, hermanas entre otras mujeres de la familia. Casi siempre preparábamos una sopa o alguna comida para todas y por supuesto siempre había un brindis. Desde que nació Marcela y celebro este día, cambió un poco mi perspectiva. No es que ahora no hagamos reuniones familiares pero para mi significa ahora hacer algo que yo quiera, así que en mi primer Día de la Madre mi esposo me llevó a cenar a un restaurante de comida Mexicana muy famoso en Margarita.

Before Mother's Day for me it was to celebrate my mother with a gift and a family reunion where my aunts, cousins, sisters and other women in the family were usually present. We almost always prepared a soup or some food for everyone and of course there was always a toast. Since Marcela was born and I celebrate this day, my perspective has changed a bit. It is not that now we do not have family reunions but for me it now means doing something that I want, so on my first Mother's Day my husband took me to dinner at a very famous Mexican restaurant in Margarita.

Cuando eramos novios siempre el cumplía mi capricho de ir a comer aquí así que este restaurante es especial para nosotros. En este restaurante nos comprometimos (pero ese es otro cuento) y hemos pasado momentos inolvidables, así que este día fue muy especial porque teníamos la compañía de nuestra princesa. Es un restaurante de comida y ambiente Mexicano donde hay música en vivo y muuuuuchos shot de tequila de cortesía.

When we were dating he always fulfilled my whim of going to eat here so this restaurant is special for us. In this restaurant we got engaged (but that's another story) and we have had unforgettable moments, so this day was very special because we had the company of our princess. It is a restaurant with Mexican food and atmosphere where there is live music and lots of courtesy shots of tequila.

Con el coche de Marcela al lado yo disfrutaba de las mas deliciosas Margaritas de la isla, en este caso probando una de frutas tropicales. Esta bebida me encanta y aquí sirven las mejores, además de toda la comida en general. Este día me deleite con unos riquísimos Nachos Mixtos y otro plato que no recuerdo su nombre en este momento. Mi esposo me consintió y me dedicó un par de canciones....

With Marcela's car next to me, I enjoyed the most delicious Margaritas on the island, in this case trying one of tropical fruits. I love this drink and here they serve the best, in addition to all the food in general. This day I was delighted with some delicious Mixed Nachos and another dish that I do not remember its name at this time. My husband spoiled me and dedicated a couple of songs to me....

Disfruté muchísimo mi Primer día de la Madre porque me sentí especial, querida y consentida, creo que ese debe ser el mejor regalo para una mami porque sin dudas nos esforzamos mucho. Los demás años han tenido su toque especial también pero creo que el primero es el mas especial y que siempre vas a recordar. Yo me alegro de tener estas fotos y recordar mi día especial con mi esposo y mi hija.

I really enjoyed my First Mother's Day because I felt special, loved and pampered, I think that this must be the best gift for a mom because without a doubt we tried hard. The other years have had their special touch too but I think the first is the most special and that you will always remember. I am glad to have these photos and to remember my special day with my husband and daughter.
