The most anticipated day has arrived for my sweet girl, or rather for me. Hehehe, I think I was more nervous than she was about her first day of high school. The schedule she will have at her new school will be in the afternoon, something new. As a mother present every step of the way, I took her to school to see the facilities inside the educational institution, see some teachers, and even wait for her to enter her new classroom.

As I've mentioned in other posts, my daughter Dariana is 11 years old and is starting high school at a new school. It's also private, with a different approach than we're used to. Things have changed a lot since I attended a private school 30 years ago. 👀

The truth is that it's a school that was highly recommended to me. It's demanding in every sense, but it seems to offer a good education. In fact, it's the only school here in Cabimas, our municipality, that offers Robotics as a curricular unit throughout the year, with a company called Kurios, a specialist in this type of education with technology and innovation.

The The school is quite small, but it has its qualities. It has a mini court for physical education, the classrooms have Smart TVs, they have a computer and IT room, and it is well equipped.

As for the content, you will see subjects that I didn't see until the 3rd year of high school 👀 during my time as a student, such as physics, chemistry, research methodology, vocational guidance, and logical-mathematical thinking. I think it is quite complete. Let's see how it goes.

While they were welcoming the three groups that attended today (1st, 2nd, and 3rd years), I stayed to find out who the teachers are. I also know one of them. I wanted to know some basic things about the school rules and dress code. I wanted to know as much as possible. It was the first time I left her there, although she was relaxed, hehe.

A My little neighbor will also be in the same group with her. Fortunately, they get along well. Another girl who also studied at the school in previous years is not her friend. However, she is not her friend. I know that won't be a problem. The point is for her to socialize with other children. The group has about 30 kids.

My daughter has started a new stage of her school life that will bring many experiences and lots of new things. I know she will be fine because she adapts to any environment where she is treated well. Where she is not, she will let me know. We have created a bond of trust so she can tell me any concerns she has, although sometimes she thinks I am an open book who has all the answers. 😵‍💫

El día más esperado ha llegado para mi dulce niña o más bien para mí, Jejeje, creo que estaba más nerviosa que ella por su primer día de clases en 1 er año de secundaria. El horario que tendrá en el nuevo colegio será por la tarde, algo novedoso. Como mamá presente en cada paso, la lleve al colegio para conocer las instalaciones al interior de la institución educativa, ver algunos profesores, incluso esperar que entrara a su nueva aula de clases.

Como les he comentado anteriormente en otros post, mi hija Dariana tiene 11 años, ésta iniciando la secundaria en un colegio nuevo que además es privado, con una modalidad diferente a la que estamos acostumbrados, las cosas han cambiado mucho desde que yo estudie en un liceo privado hace 30 años 👀.

Lo cierto es que es un colegio que me recomendaron muchísimo, es exigente en todos los sentidos, pero parece que ofrecen una buena educación, es más, es el único colegio aquí en Cabimas, nuestro municipio que ofrece Robótica como unidad curricular durante todo el año con una empresa llamada Kurios, especialista en éste tipo de educación con tecnología e innovación.

El colegio es bastante pequeño, pero tiene sus condiciones, cuenta con su mini cancha para hacer educación física, las aulas tienen Smartv, tienen sala de computación e informática, está bien equipado.

En cuanto a los contenidos, verá materias que no ví hasta el 3er año de bachillerato 👀 en mis tiempos de estudio, como física, química, metodología de la investigación, orientación vocacional, pensamiento lógico matemático, creo que es bastante completo, vamos a ver como le va.

Mientras le estuvieron dando la bienvenida a los tres grupos que asistieron hoy (1er, 2do, 3er año), me quedé para saber quienes son los docentes, también conozco a uno de ellos, algunas cosas básicas en cuanto a las reglas del colegio, vestimenta, quería saber lo más posible, era primera vez que la dejaba allí, aunque ella estaba relajada, Jejeje.

Una vecinita también estará en el mismo grupo con ella, afortunadamente se la llevan bien, otra niña que también estudio en años anteriores en la escuela, aunque esa si no es su amiguita, pero se que no será un problema, la cuestión es que socialice con otros niños, el grupo tiene unos 30 chicos aproximadamente.

Mi hija ha iniciado una nueva etapa de su vida escolar que vendrá con muchas experiencias, novedades hasta el cansancio, se que estará bien, porque ella se adapta a cualquier ambiente donde la traten bien, dónde no, me lo hará saber, porque hemos creado un vínculo de confianza para que me cuente cualquier inquietud, aunque a veces cree que soy un libro abierto que tengo todas las respuestas😵‍💫.
