Greetings, moms and Dads of the motherhood community! I feel intrigued to get involved in this week's challenge, which is targeted at sharing summer plans, fun activities, and learning ideas with our fellow parents here who do not know what to do with their offspring while on summer vacation.

The responsibilities of mothers to their children, especially when they are still small, are numerous. I have heard a lot of people say that there is no vacation in motherhood. I have tested, seen, and believed the statement. This is because, a lot of the time, I plan to have fun on my own, relax, and chill out just like it was in my singlehood days, but it never happens so easily. The kids are always there, seeking attention, which I can't deny them. My oldest son is 8 and my last son is 2 years old. I have three adorable boys who are so active! It's never a dull moment with them. They are fun to be with, but they wouldn't fail to spoil a lot of things at home.
School is out, what to do now🥲
I am very aware that without activities to engage and entertain the kids, the summer vacation would be stressful on my part to have them around from morning till night each day and boring at home for them as well. My kids and I had a short conversation about our plans for the summer, and they wouldn't stop emphasizing taking them to the conservation center, the beach, and the kids fun world center around us. The last time they visited the beach and the zoo was two years ago, and they have been craving such an experience again.
The vacation is a long one , taking your kids to the beach one of the days would create a memorable experience with them. There at the beach, they can play with sand castle, watch the wave 🌊 of the water, admire lots of fun activities over there in the beach.
The last vacation, we visited the conservation center where they saw different kinds of animals in real life, the ones they have been seeing in their textbooks. They played table tennis 🎾 with the coaches over there, had fun viewing nature, and wouldn't stop sharing their experience with their friends when they resumed school.

Other activities to keep the kids busy at home could be indoor games or outdoor games. For my boys, I already bought a football ⚽ for them,to engage them while I do my work. I also got skipping rope and a friend of mine got materials for basketball. Ludo game is another game I already taught them how to play and they find it interesting. Any of these games can go for your kids as well
Our learning plan
In the past I have tried involving my kids with activities in my kitchen and in my little garden. Regardless of their gender, I make sure they get the basic training that can assist them as they grow older. One of the learning activities in our plans is how to make a smoothie.
It's going to be a practical session while I allow them to use the knife with proper supervision.
We will also visit my little garden to learn how to weed , how to pluck veggies and so on..
Making their bed 🛏️ is another thing in our plans, I have been guiding them on how to do that but this will be a period they should get it right...they will also be learning how to fold their clothes and organise their room properly.
Aside these activities I mentioned above, we would incorporate little academics 📚📖📚,
I bought this story book for my second son in pre school and he finds it interesting reading it and other books as well. So trying this would be fine .
Also, a lot of kids love painting 🖌️🎨🖌️ and drawing and we will be exploring that aspect as well, so I suggest my fellow parents, that you try out one these fun and learning activities I discussed here. It will surely keep them engaged and entertained.
Thanks for reading, I do hope you got little ideas on how to spend the summer ⛱️🌞 vacation with your little ones😍
