Good afternoon, moms and dads. How are you? I'm doing great, enjoying every moment of my life as a mom.
Last Sunday, March 8, International Women's Day, I received two gifts from my daughters, which they made in their classrooms with the help of their elementary and preschool teachers, respectively. I am grateful to them for always thinking of ways to make us happy on important days.
Abby's teacher prepared a foam flower. She had previously asked us to bring this material to class. I honestly couldn't even guess what it was for because, in the midst of my daily routine, I sometimes don't even know what day it is, much less think about what they could do with it. Inside the flower, they placed a lollipop to sweeten my day. I was able to see a photo of her in her classroom with her gift, as the teacher sent it to me last Friday.
On the other hand, Alys gave me a beautiful drawing she painted at school, referring to the fact that women are strong no matter how the situation turns out, we always stand firm and are willing to find a solution while maintaining our convictions.
They wanted to give me the details on Friday when I got home from work, but I told them to wait until Sunday, as we need to be a little patient in order to surprise our loved ones. So, even though I had already seen the drawing and the flower, they decided to wait until Sunday to give them to me.
That day I finally received my gifts and we took a photo together, but I couldn't eat the lollipop because I gave it to one of the girls. But it didn't matter, I was very happy to have them and to be able to celebrate that day with them.

Buenas tardes, papitos y mamitas. ¿Como se encuentran? Yo muy bien, disfrutando de cada momento en mi vida de mamá.
El pasado domingo 08 de marzo Día Internacional de la Mujer recibí dos detalles de mis hijas, los cuáles elaboraron en sus salones de clases con la ayuda de sus maestras de primaria y preescolar respectivamente, me siento agradecida con ellas siempre están pensando en alegrarnos en los días importantes de alguna forma.
La maestra de Abby preparó una flor de foami, previamente ella nos había pedido este material para llevarlo a clases, yo la verdad no pude ni intuir de que se trataba porque en medio de mi rutina diaria a veces no se que día es, mucho menos pensé en que podían hacer con ello, dentro de la flor colocaron una chupeta para endulzar mi día, pude ver una foto de ella en su salón de clases con su regalo, ya que la maestra me la envió el viernes pasado.
Por otra parte, Alys me dió un hermoso dibujo que pinto en la escuela, haciendo referencia a que las mujeres somos fuertes sin importar como se ponga la situación siempre nos encontramos firmes y dispuestas a encontrar una solución manteniendo siempre nuestra convicción.
Ellas querían darme los detalles el mismo viernes cuando llegue del trabajo, yo les dije que esperaran hasta el domingo, ya que debemos ser un poco pacientes para poder sorprender a quiénes amamos, así que aunque ya había visto el dibujo y la flor, decidieron aguardar hasta el domingo para dármelos.
Ese día recibí finalmente mis regalos y nos tomamos una foto juntas, pero no pude comerme la chupeta porque se la dí a una de las niñas, pero no importa, yo me sentía muy feliz por tenerlas y poder celebrar ese día al lado de ellas.
