My baby is the first grandchild both from my side and my husband's so everybody wanted to see him at once. Since we were in Seychelles during my whole pregnancy until delivery, my parents in the Philippines did not see him for 8 months, hence we traveled to my hometown last December 2, 2019, when Covid was at its peak.
We arrived at Doha International Airport at around 11 pm and so far Sage's energy still was okay. He seemed very relaxed with his rabbit and pacifier on.
While waiting for our next flight bound for Manila, which was an exhausting 9-hour flight, we roamed around and took a picture right in the middle where the Oryx was situated. He's still very much quiet and simply observing around.
While we were at the gate, an Italian cute little girl who was on board with us couldn't help herself played with Sage and tried to talk to my baby in Italian. I understand a bit of what she said, and we ended up taking a picture of her. Just cuteness overload and the advantage of flying with babies were the freebies given to both of them while onboard. Even the flight attendant was enjoying their presence. So it was a smooth flight overall, as my baby had been on his best behaviour so far. No tantrum and whenever he's not comfortable, I would simply cuddle him until he would doze off.
We reached my hometown in a very welcoming mode, both from my parents and even at the shopping center where we went to check on some items to bring back to Seychelles.
