Curiosity is the engine that drives great discoveries. In that sense, I have been amazed with my baby's exploratory capacity. She wants to know how every object in the house works, even when something doesn't make sense in her world, she looks for a use from her creativity, so anything becomes an ideal toy to generate smiles and stimulate her imagination.

A shoebox can be transformed into a bed for a doll, a plastic bottle into a trolley or a maraca, a cookie tin into a drum and some nuts into spectacular rings 😅. It's all a matter of creativity and, no doubt, the little bee will let hers fly to play with all these objects and have a good time.

Curiosity activates the brain and prepares the child for learning, both words and the meaning of concepts that make him understand his environment and his universe, which expands as it is stimulated while he grows and develops. Although it is a natural process, it must be considered that nowadays technology offers an alternative vision of the world that often tends to distort reality.

A few days ago, she surprised me with a new discovery, while playing with balls of different sizes, materials (plastic, rubber and rubber) and shapes (hollow and solid), which behave differently when thrown and bounced against different surfaces. She has learned to notice these differences.

At home we have some wooden chairs that have armrests, whose design is composed of several trenches, this particularity allows the balls to roll from one end to the other without falling (which will depend on how they are placed and the material used to make them). I stopped to watch how the girl placed the balls and followed the displacement until the sphere could stop at the end of the armrest. It seems simple but it is not, you have to be precise and place the ball with great subtlety.

Alma succeeded repeatedly, even placing several at the same time without dropping them. I admired her patience, concentration, meticulous work and tenacity. Her happy face was a delight. I like the way she celebrates her victories, here she was jumping and clapping, she knows how to express her emotions very well.

I celebrated with her to continue motivating her to discover what surrounds her, the functioning of the logical world, since all these games she plays represent an opportunity to explore her environment. Although I often feel tired due to the ups and downs of everyday life, I try to enjoy this process as much as possible because these are days that will never come back. The child is growing very fast and in a short time she will close one cycle and open another, which will be another challenge in this fascinating universe that is motherhood.

La curiosidad es el motor que impulsa los grandes descubrimientos. En tal sentido, he quedado maravillada con la capacidad exploratoria de mi bebé. Ella quiere saber cómo funciona cada objeto en la casa, incluso cuando algo no tiene sentido en su mundo, ella le busca un uso desde su creatividad, así que cualquier cosa se convierte en un juguete idóneo para generar sonrisas y estimular su imaginación.

Una caja de zapatos puede transformarse en una cama para una muñeca, una botella plástica en un carrito o una maraca, el envase de las galletas en un tambor y unas tuercas unos espectaculares anillos 😅. Todo es cuestión de creatividad y, sin duda, la pequeña abeja dejar volar la suya para jugar con todos estos objetos y pasar un buen rato.

La curiosidad activa el cerebro y prepara al niño para el aprendizaje, tanto de palabras como del significado de conceptos que le hagan comprender su entorno y su universo, el cual se va ampliando a medida que se estimula mientras crece y se desarrolla. Si bien es un proceso natural, se debe considerar que actualmente la tecnología ofrece un vision alternativa del mundo que muchas veces tiende a distorsionar lo real.

Hace unos días, ella me sorprendió con un nuevo descubrimiento, mientras jugaba con pelotas de diferentes tamaños, materiales (plástico, goma y hule) y formas (huecas y macizas), las cuales tienen un comportamiento diferente cuando se lanzan y rebotan contra distintas superficies. Ella ha aprendió a notar estas diferencias.

En casa tenemos unas sillas de madera que tienen reposabrazos, cuyo diseño está compuesto por varias zanjas, esta particularidad permite que las pelotas rueden de un extremo a otro sin caerse (lo cual dependerá de la forma cómo se coloquen y el material de elaboración). Me detuve a observar cómo la niña colocaba las pelotas y seguía el desplazamiento hasta que la esfera podía detenerse al final del apoyabrazos. Parece sencillo pero no lo es, hay que tener precisión y ubicar la pelota con mucha sutileza.

Alma lo logró en reiteras oportunidades, incluso colocó varias al mismo tiempo sin que se cayeran. Admiré su paciencia, concentración, trabajo meticuloso y tenacidad. Su cara de felicidad era un encanto. Me agrada la forma cómo celebra sus victorias, acá saltaba y aplaudía, sabe expresar sus emociones muy bien.

Celebré junto a ella para seguir motivándola a descubrir lo que le rodea, el funcionamiento del mundo lógico, ya que todos estos juegos que realiza representan una oportunidad para explorar su entorno. Aunque muchas veces me sienta cansada por los avatares de la cotidianidad, este proceso trato de disfrutarlo al máximo porque son días que no regresarán. La niña va creciendo muy rápido y en poco tiempo cerrará un ciclo y abrirá otro, que será otro desafío en este universo fascinante que es la maternidad.
