As parents, one of the greatest satisfactions is to see our children perform satisfactorily in their activities, whether they are school or extracurricular, it is like a pat on our shoulder that tells us that we are doing a good job, and yesterday was one of those days.

And I don't know if it felt like that for all of them, but this school year something very crazy happened, and it is that although I have felt that the year has gone super fast in terms of the passing of the months, I felt that the school year was ETERNAL.
I don't know if it was due to the excessive amount of activities at home, or that now the demands with Matias are greater being in high school, but the truth is that it was extremely exhausting, so you can not imagine the satisfaction and happiness I felt to see that at last, we can say that this school year ended, and with great results for both.
As I told you a few days ago, academically Miranda culminated its activities, with the closing of the last "moment" project on Thursday of last week, but yesterday they had a purely cultural presentation, also focused on the project of this period, which took the children on a tour of the northeastern region of our country (Anzoátegui, Sucre and Monagas).
And yesterday was a very diverse and wide sample, not only of the traditional dances of each of these states, but also of their beliefs, traditions, tourist sites and even gastronomy.
For this purpose, there were different stands with samples of music, crafts, tourist sites and places of interest in each state, as well as the most emblematic dishes, which were prepared by parents and representatives, and tasted at the end by all those present.
I must applaud the work of the third and fourth grade teachers (it was a joint project) for all the effort in making a really beautiful display for the parents, as each stand and photo area was simply beautiful, and we were able to appreciate the different activities that our children did.
For the cultural event we had many presentations of the culture and traditions of these three states, so we were able to enjoy dances, "diversions ", declamations and even galerones, which are artistic manifestations of the northeastern part of our country.
Each presentation was really beautiful, and all the effort of the teachers and the children could be noticed, as well as the commitment of the parents in terms of the required clothing for each of the participations.
At the end of the event, parents were called to remain in their seats to taste some of all the gastronomic samples, among which stood out a great variety of traditional sweets, as well as different typical dishes in "mini" versions.
And of course we could not miss the photo session in the beautiful spaces that the school set up for this purpose, with our beautiful tricolor and some of the most representative handicrafts of the northeastern culture.
In conclusion, it was a beautiful activity despite the terrible heat and not having started at the scheduled time, which can be understood by the number of children involved, which should be around 100 children, since it was two grades, with two sections each.
For Miranda, the only thing pending is the farewell party with her classmates, which is scheduled for the twelfth of this month, but luckily she does not have to attend school until that day, and say goodbye at last to the 2022-2023 school year.

Como padres, una de las mayores satisfacciones es ver a nuestros hijos desenvolverse de manera satisfactoria en sus actividades, ya sean escolares o extracurriculares, es como una palmada en nuestro hombro que nos indica que estamos haciendo un buen trabajo, y ayer fue uno de esos días.

Y no sé si para todas se sintió así, pero este año escolar sucedió algo muy loco, y es que aunque he sentido que el año se ha ido súper rápido en cuanto al paso de los meses, sentí que el año escolar fué ETERNO.
No sé si debió a la cantidad excesiva de actividades para el hogar, o que ahora las exigencias con Matías son mayores al estar en secundaria, pero lo cierto es que fué sumamente agotador, así que no pueden imaginar la satisfacción y felicidad que sentí al ver que al fin, podemos decir que finalizó este año escolar, y con grandes resultados para ambos.
Como les comenté hace unos días, academicamente Miranda culminó sus actividades, con el cierre de proyecto del último "momento" el jueves de la semana pasada, pero ayer tenían una presentación netamente cultural, enfocada también en el proyecto de este lapso, que llevó a los niños a un recorrido por la región nororiental de nuestro país (Anzoátegui, Sucre y Monagas).
Y el día de ayer fue una muestra bastante diversa y amplia, no sólo de los bailes tradicionales de cada uno de esos estados, sino de sus creencias, tradiciones, sitios turísticos e incluso gastronomía.
Para ello se dispusieron diferentes stands con muestras relativas a la música, artesanía, sitios turísticos y de interés en cada estado, además de los platillos más emblemáticos, los cuales fueron elaborados por los padres y representantes, y degustados al final por todos los presentes.
Debo aplaudir el trabajo de las docentes de tercer y cuarto grado (era un proyecto en conjunto) por todo el esfuerzo en realizar una muestra realmente bella para los padres, pues cada estand y área para las fotografías estaba simplemente hermoso, y pudimos apreciar las diferentes actividades que realizaron nuestros hijos.
Para el acto cultural contamos con muchísimas presentaciones de lo que son la cultura y tradiciones de estos tres estados, así que pudimos disfrutar de bailes, "diversiones", declamaciones e incluso galerones, que son manifestaciones artísticas propias de la zona nororiental de nuestro país.
Cada presentación estuvo realmente bella, y se pudo notar todo el esfuerzo de las docentes y de los niños, además del compromiso de los padres en cuanto a la vestimenta requerida para cada una de las participaciones.
Al finalizar el acto se hizo un llamado a los padres a permanecer en los asientos para degustar un poco de todas las muestras gastronómicas, entre las que destacaban, una gran variedad de la dulcería tradicional, así como diferentes platos típicos en versiones "mini".
Y por supuesto no podía faltar la sesión fotográfica en los espacios tan lindos que ambientó el colegio para tal fin, con nuestro hermoso tricolor y algunas de las artesanías más representativas de la cultura nororiental.
En conclusión fué una actividad preciosa a pesar del calor terrible y de no haber iniciado a la hora pautada, cosa que puede entenderse por la cantidad de niños involucrados, que debía rondar los 100 niños, ya que se trataba de dos grados, con dos secciones cada uno.
Para Miranda, ya sólo está pendiente la fiesta de despedida con sus compañeros de clase, la cual está pautada para el día doce de este mes, pero por suerte ya no debe asistir al colegio, sino hasta ese día, y despedir al fin, el año escolar 2022-2023.
