Hello dear moms,I want to share my late experience in this wonderful community #motherhood
Being a mother is not easy at all, sometimes I think that there is no harder job in the world. Parenting fills us and makes us happy, but sometimes we really feel great care, sacrifice and concern for our children. There is infinite strength and endurance in us women.
I talked to my husband who told me that he would have a hard time withstanding what I had endured for the last week.
Our 13-month-old baby got a high temperature ten days ago, we tried to take it off but we didn't succeed. We went to the clinic and after a blood test, they sent us to the hospital urgently because the
With tears in my eyes and care in my heart, I packed my things and set off. My other three daughters were in kindergarten and I didn't even say goodbye to them, another big concern and thinking about who will take care of them while I'm gone.
Since they did not know what kind of infection it was, they gave her a strong venous antibiotic, which has a wide range in the treatment of the disease. The baby still had a fever and was dehydrated, so her infusions were included all the time.
That was the hardest part because the little baby is not resting, she is not holding her hand still so her veins are bursting and they had to prick her again with a needle to put a new brownie on her, over and over again.
She was even mad at me for letting her be given infusions and keeping her from moving.
The lawest temperature was38 and the highest 40.1.
Imissed my other kids too, they were so sad and under stress because I was not there, my husband was with them.
The biggest problem for me was not being able to go to the bathroom to take a shower because the baby was in my arms almost during day and night not letting me to go out, so I slept while standing and holding her.
I couldn't imagine how big my strength and endurance were. We finally went home after seven days, not only because of the virus that is present in kindergartens these days, they also isolated Escherichia coli bacteria in her urine, so we will continue to be treated with antibiotics from home.
