You are truly blessed mom, You have a responsible husband and a caring mother who help you in taking care of your new born. Remembering my time when i gave birth i only have my husband on my side and my help in caring my baby because my parents are living far away from us, though i have my in-laws but they are busy working in the farm and they can only take care for my toodlers and thats a great help for me. You're absolutely right we cannot go back to who we are before but we can be better as a mom for our kids and family.
