Les comparto que este sábado que paso fue el debut de mi pequeña Abigail jugando voleibol, su primer partido. Esta será Dios mediante su cuarta semana desde que inicio las prácticas en este deporte, por lo que al principio no estuve muy de acuerdo de que ya la metieran a jugar en este compromiso, pero su profesora hablo conmigo y me dije que no me preocupara que la idea era ir animándolas, que casi todas las niñas estaban en la misma condición de Abigail, que de seguro iba a disfrutar mucho el juego y asi fue.

I share with you that this past Saturday was the debut of my little Abigail playing volleyball, her first game. This will be her fourth week since she started practicing this sport, so at first I didn't agree with the fact that she was already playing in this commitment, but her teacher talked to me and told me not to worry, that the idea was to encourage them, that almost all the girls were in the same condition as Abigail, that for sure she was going to enjoy the game a lot and so it was.
Asi que nos fuimos a otra ciudad llamada Sarare a unos 50 minutos en autobús desde donde vivimos. Esto se realizó en una escuela de voleibol llamada Sikiu que se encontraba celebrando su primer aniversario.

Comenzó la actividad con la categoría semillita donde se encuentra mi pequeña a pesar de que la cancha no estaba techada y el sol estaba en su máximo esplendor desde tempranas horas de la mañana, empezaron a jugar el primer set y lo ganaron, mi hija comenzó de titular y yo estaba muy nerviosa aunque no sé si más que ella.
El segundo le dieron un descanso y colocaron a jugar a otras niñas, ese lo perdieron por lo que se tuvo que ir a un 3er set donde mi hija volvió a jugar, ese también lo ganaron y asi consiguieron la victoria del equipo semillitas de la escuela de voleibol José Suarez. ¡Yupi ganamos!

Mi hija estuvo muy contenta con su participación. A pesar de los nervios de mi pequeña lo hizo bien sobre todo recibiendo la pelota, en los saques no le fue tan bien, tiene que aprender a sacar, pero hay vamos poco a poco. Lo importante es que se atrevió a participar y a pesar de sus temores y que no saco bien esto no la desanimo, eso es positivo para ella.
Para mí también fue mi debut como madre espectadora, mi primera experiencia donde me aparto de mi rutina para apoyar a mi hija en este momento tan importante para ella. Fue un día diferente en familia ya que su papa también aparto un tiempo para acompañarnos y disfrutamos todos en familia de este día deportivo y de recreación.

In spite of my little girl's nerves she did well, especially receiving the ball, in the serves she did not do so well, she has to learn how to serve, but we are going little by little. The important thing is that she dared to participate and despite her fears and that she did not serve well, this did not discourage her, that is positive for her.
For me, it was also my debut as a spectator mother, my first experience where I took a break from my routine to support my daughter in this important moment for her. It was a different day as a family because her father also set aside some time to join us and we all enjoyed this day of sports and recreation as a family.
Mi otro hijo pequeño de tan solo 4 años también disfruto de una malla elástica que tenían para ellos y corriendo de aquí para allá por las orillas de la inmensa y hermosa cancha donde nos encontrábamos. Como familias necesitamos estos momentos para fortalecer los lazos entre nosotros.
De camino y de venida disfrute con mi amado esposo de buenas conversaciones, mi pequeña relacionándose con sus amiguitas de voleibol y mi pequeño Eliab disfrutando de los hermosos paisajes, ya que es una zona de mucha vegetación y en la vía se podían observar los rebaños de ganados y ovejas, la verdad que ha sido excelente esta experiencia con mi pequeña en este deporte y lo más importante es que mi Abi sigue súper animada de continuar en sus entrenamientos y yo súper orgullosa de los avances que esta teniendo, agradezco a Dios por estas bondades que solo pueden venir de Él.
